We got the Jeep TJ "LJ" from Auction. It's pretty rough, we'll assess it and look at next steps. #jeeplife #jeeptj #jeeplj #jeep #jeepnation #tjjeep #offroad
The only "cool" thing about that filter is you can clean it and reuse it. You're right, it does nothing for a stock engine as far as power gains. It might help the gas mileage tho, eating warmer air. Im almost certain the stock air box on my '92 YJ sucks cool air from outside of the engine compartment lol
The LJ, for me, is the greatest Wrangler Jeep ever made. I have a 2006 LJ Rubicon manual 6. I will keep it forever. Had it since mile 1. It was even the last TJ/LJ ever done with AEV. Still have the AEV Bridger rims on it.
Cold Air Intake is a manufactures wording scam. the intake is in the Hottest section of a vehicle, the Engine Bay. a Snorkel is a better means for a Cold Air Intake.
Ahhh yes, the CJ-8. Purpose built as a LWB. I’m not well versed on the early era jeeps and have never owned one. From an overall JEEP standpoint, yes, this would be a definite H.G. As there was only just over 27,000 ever produced with less than 1,100 accounted for, I would say these are more of a Unicorn now….
the bend in the frame frame, id cut a relief in it and strap a tow strap/Hook to it and pull it back out with the other Jeep use a straight edge to get it straight again, then weld it back, but thats just me, as i can weld and i do alot of welding on my old Jeep J10 and Wagoneer.. The power steering pump leak is typical for those crap chinese units, ive gone through tons of them on my two 98 ZJ's, same pump... its chinesium at its finest. Or take it to a frame shop if youre not confident in your ability to do that
Absolutely, welding is not my strong suit although I own a brand new welder that was a Christmas gift still in the box from 2 years ago….😂 I’ll have a pro look at it and we’ll see where we end up. Cheers.
