@@ButchE30M3S14uhh that ain’t how it works. Cam timing, boost pressure, exhaust headers, pipe shape and configuration, tip and pipe diameter, titanium vs aluminum. It’s the reason why the LFA and Carrera GT sound better than the Huracan/Gallardo that have the same redline and engine layout (9k rpm flat plane V10)
And the irony that both are faster than 99% of vehicles on the road. That Mammoth would beat a Mustang GT to the quarter. I'd pay to see that kind of butthurt.

@@evaristocorripio5434 stock made 580whp and claimed 700. 750whp on an awd variant with loss is over 900 , either way it’s only slow because of its weight
First of all: The Jeeps LC is adjustable so if you turn it a bit down it will stay in place. Second of all is that the Jeep in Eco mode "only" uses 400hp. Besides that as allways, awesome video mat PS: I own a Trackhawk myselft thats why i know all that :)
@@will.dornon my DDHC shows 436hp on the instant read out in ECO at WOT. 500HP crank if the readout is supposed to be wheel horsepower but otherwise its barely over 400hp if thats supposed to be crank hp. Valet peaked at 194hp during my testing.

I waited for this insane drag race! The most powerful pick-up truck in the world right now, the Hennessy Mammoth drag racing against one of the most powerful SUV in the world, the Jeep Trackhawk! This is one of my favourite Carwow drag race ever!
The exploder ST would live up to its name... kaboom. Even though mopar's engines are not great, it can at least survive a bit of drag racing. Math: In order to compete with the dodges, the ford would need around 700 crank HP, to beat them it would need more. So the ford 3l v6 needs to put out around 770-800hp. 800/3l = 266hp/l. That's pretty high even for a tuned car. And then the drivetrain + chassis needs to be reinforced to handle the power... Basically, an 800hp ford exploder would go kaboom trying to launch.
The Mamoth is based off a 1/2 ton truck. Funny how you think that is mentally huge....It just has a lift and large tires. It's the same size as a F150. A 1 ton crew cab Silverado 3500 dually is a large truck.
@@animalbarrie Yeah compared to other similar American trucks, it's just a little bit bigger than an F150 Raptor but compared to what we're used to in the UK, it's mentally huge. Put that thing next to a Ranger Raptor or a Hilux Raider, and they look like toy trucks
@@FacuGonz3 I do think that Hennessy is a fairly crap company but I’m going to add that people should consider the tire / wheel weight too….the TRX has about 75% more weight all around than the trackhawk
It only runs .1 faster in the quarter than a stock one. Sure the one I watched was on a drag strip but it shouldn’t matter that much with all the weight and grip
15.2mpg on the Trackhawk is actually pretty good. I have a 5.7L Hemi Grand Cherokee Limited with an intake and custom exhaust and it averages about 12 depending on my driving. As high as 14.7 and as low as 11.
@@jasono2139 lol technically world gas prices, the president of the US didn't raise global prices. Russia is one of the biggest oil suppliers in the world, so when they cut of the EU, the EU must then dip into our supplier's resources too, this making the demand increase. And when demand goes up prices go up as they are correlative factors. On top of this, inflation has hit every country since Covid, and America has been dealing with the aftermath from what happened when Trump forced the Fed to artificially keep interest rates low during his time to make his economy numbers look better. It's a perfect storm, but luckily at least where I live gas prices have calmed down. I've heard some places like Cali and Nevada still have $5 or $6 gas prices though. I love my state of Colorado 🙏
What year? 2006 onwards has that feature that only uses 4 of 8 cylinders, can’t remember the acronym right now but it helps a bit… I get up to 21mpg on British motorways but in London it averages 11.5 (😭) 14.7 sounds high for city driving if that’s what you’re doing! But I guess the mods would explain a lower fuel economy.
With the Launch Control in the Hawk, it was probably at it's highest setting which is why she was creeping forward. A little lower and you'd get a perfect launch as it's 800+ HP going to all 4 wheels so that's a lot of power which the brakes can't hold at full RRPM in the LC. It's an amazing car, can send Mustangs to Gapplebees on Sunday and take the kids to school on Monday.

The MPG on a trip computer will be affected differently depending on how many miles since it was reset. If it was reset 10 miles ago, a drag race would have a huge effect on average MPG. If it was reset 1000 miles ago, it would barely change.

As Jeremy would say, "This appeals to your inner 9 year old" and honestly anyone outside USA would think a million times before owning one of these. But that 6.2 Hemi though with that supercharger whine sounds so beastly, like damnnn. Honestly if anyone has the money and passion for big brawny american engine would be happy to own one despite the shitty fuel consumption and inferior build quality compared to an European counterpart. Cuz this might be the last of the gas guzzling muscle car, or in this case muscle "truck".
Passenger cars account for just ~6% of global emissions, and power plants produce CO2 too so EVs aren't zero-emission, so if everyone converted to EVs in the next 10 years (impossible due to a myriad of reasons) we'd probably halve that emissions number, i.e. make a rounding error a smaller rounding error. i.e. big whoop. Just something to think about
I wish on every single race no matter what cars are racing. You always had some normal car in like a 100hp car just to really show the speed of the other cars. So the trackhawk, mammoth and a 1.4 Astra. Lambo vs Ferrari and an Astra etc.
I HAVE INCURRED SO MUCH LOSSES TRADING ON MY OWN...I TRADE WELL ON DEMO BUT I THINK THE REAL MARKET IS MANIPULATED... CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT OR AT LEAST TELL ME WHAT I'M DOING WRONG ?...
I came to RU-vid to learn how to trade after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $460.000 in 2 months for $70.000. Somehow this video has helped me light on some things. But I'm confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas
