Lower bearing will disintegrate after 3 years without regular greasing. Be nice if it had a zerk fitting. Am replacing bearings, heim joints, and should be fine for another while. This item works fine, I recommend it, just needs some maintenance occasionally.
I installed it and it works with tailgate. Its not as easy to install as they show here being that it's from china parts were missing and had to improvise. Not sure it's worth the 1100 they wanted either. It's pretty cool though after done. Leaves lots of empty spots after you uninstall factory mount that can allow water in vehicle if not plugged with something. For me I would rate this a meh upgrade from factory.
It could use that if you are watching this for entertainment, but if you are watching this so you can install one your self then it is not needed because you can see how it moves when you finish.
