Nice dex a like those rc i got a set of rampage since 4 years when i buy mi jeep was the first mod and they still like new work good for my family but like you say i do ligh trails and the beach

I have the exact same side steps and I can speak from experience avoid at all costs they start to rust within just a few months after installing

I went with the Mopar OEM model # JL-ROCK-RAILS. They’re sort of expensive $1100 but totally worth it IMO

I just finish installing a set today for a friend, nothing lines up, had to bend the mounts to line it up and the small bolts that go in the front, all of them couldn’t be installed because the fitment was so bad. This is a great video on the install but it’s not installing like this video, really disappointed on the fitment. If it was my truck I would have returned it.

I must say I did laugh. I'm really thinking of getting this nerd step. You really make it look easy to install. Will this work on my 2017 sport jku? Hey hope everything is ok in the Bahamas with the recent storms coming through. Take care brother. Keep the vlogs coming.

Dex thanks for the advice on contacting RC. I will definitely do that. I saw the nerf step on blackedout Jeep Wrangler jeep in Toronto when I made a trip there to meet him. Awesome meetup. Hey if your interested in seeing my jeep check out his vlog with me in one of his earlier vlogs. My jeep is still basically stock with a couple upgrades.. Let me know if you checked it out. Not a fan of these. Although they look practical, the mounts are flimsy. Since they don't use all stock mounting locations, it causes way too much flex at the pinch seams. Your pinch seems are probably bent by now and you probably hear creaking and feel flex when you stand on them.

Yeah, I agree. Much stronger when mounted to the body mounts underneath the rail. Thanks for watching!
