One gallon food bag works great for surrounding the filter before removing it. Have no issues with the better SRT filter on my end. Did the quick change drain plug change out so no more pulling oil plugs and making messes. Added the magnetic half circle oil filter magnets too. Spray painted with ceramic header flat black the rear exhaust that hangs down
The 392s with the steel oil pan call for 7.5qt (pre-fill oil filter) even though the manual may still say 6.8qt or 7qt. Dealership service departments also make this mistake.
