Remember that you can put this hood vent scoop on any 1998 to 2017 Jeep Wrangler TJ and JK. Rugged Build. This hood scoop is molded out of a high strength plastic, which is made to be UV resistant, so it won't fade or crack from sitting in direct sunlight. You can get this scoop in two different versions. One has a black finish, matching other exterior trim pieces. The other is smoked, so it's more see-through and adds a unique look. Easy Setup. This is a very simple upgrade job that should only take you about 20 minutes to complete, from start to finish. The scoop comes with pre-applied 3M tape, so you just need to clean around the vents on the hood extremely well, peel of the tape's backing strips, and press the scoop firmly into place. You get to choose if you want the opening facing the windshield, or out toward the front of the vehicle.
