For me, Bruce Lee was considered a real superhero. He is a very complete fighter with great ability in striking and grappling. As Bruce Lee said: "the best fighter is not a puncher, a kicker and ever a grappler. A best fighter is someone who can adapt in any style and type of combat". 🥊
The funny thing about Bruce is most martial arts actors aren’t as good in real life, not saying they’re not actually good but just not as good as in the movies Bruce was actually BETTER in real life cause his movie style was designed to be flashy while as in real life he didn’t believe in wasted movements and would attack more vital areas and end the fight as quickly as possible He also was even faster in real life than in the movies and had to slow down for movies so the cameras could pick up what he was doing
@@Los_Chanchulleros do your research before saying dumb sh%t again, there is a video of him in a real bout He was the greatest, period. Would beat yo ass and Sylvester Stallone’s at the same time 😂
His punch in yo stomach can hospitalized you a month, one kick on yo face you're KO.. Bruce lee's friends once said when he was in Thailand, someone in martial art school wanted to challenge him, 2v1, bruce lee landed a kick on their face before the they even started lmfao they both KOed on floor, yes he is Movie star, but in reality he train like a beast, his strength is insane thats why he overkilled himself, he trains non stop, human has a limit but he lost it..
@M Dude it is very bad to disrespect a thing.Dude another thing is that your football developed a thousand years after martial arts. And you see the difference between martial arts and sport is that soccer is played by only 240 countries and martial arts by 30 or more than that. But practising martial arts is more useful than playing soccer.Martial arts are being practised for mind and physical training. It has not rules and regulations. But soccer has several rules.Martial arts tend to train every part of the body whereas soccer tend to develop only paws.Whether you would agree or not but according to me, your soccer players are not as famous as Martial artists across the world.I am not disrespecting nor criticising soccer or sport. But please give relevant comments.Soccer can never be compared to martial arts.If I give soccer 1% and martial arts 99% then also I would disrespect martial arts.Soccer occupies basically nothing for it is of no use and of no practicalness. One day you have to leave sports but there's no age to leave martial arts neither there's no age to start it at.I hope you understand dude that your choice is according to statistics but not according to soul.Thank you and I hope you read my reply.
Some say this is china kungfu Not remember Bruce just using the base of wingchung and boxing in addition with collecting other martial art fight move like: karate, teakwondo and even muay Thai making up the Jeet Kune Do
That last guy was the boss, of some company, that hires and fires people, and sits, in the chair, drinking a coffee, each day... That's what we really wanna do 😂
Bruce Lee would always fight with his body turned to the side from his opponent not like a boxer having their body turned straight leaving their body open that why I like Bruce Lee style and I’m such a huge fan he was so good and had great technique and was super fast he could’ve been a world boxing champion and beaten any boxer 💯🐉🐉
What Bruce did in his movies especially trapping and wing chun is not what he practiced especially after 1970. Bruce told his wing chun senior William Cheing in 1969: "I’ve lost faith in the Chinese classical arts…my line of training is more toward efficient street fighting with everything goes, wearing head gear, gloves, chest guard, shin/knee guards, etc." "I’ve named my style jeet kune do, reason for my not sticking to Wing Chun is because I sincerely feel that this style has more to offer regarding efficiency."
awesome of course, but it's important to remember that Bruce always emphasized the difference between his movie choreography and his actual JKD. he would be the first to tell you, although they look cool, high kicks and dramatic pauses between strikes aren't something he would do in an actual combat.
Skeetajohnson some of them are moves that only work in movies but there’s also some moves that work in real life, such as the first one when Bruce kicks Bob Wall. Bob tries to hit Bruce but Bruce sees an open space lands a kick on him, intercepting the opponent’s attack. Also the moves at 0:53.
That is not how you fight multiple opponents though, cause if you don't keep them lined up in front of you, and if any get behind you: then you're going to get flanked or encircled, and whoever's behind you isn't going to just stand there and wait for you to beat his buddy in front of you up: he's going to sucker punch you from behind.
