Jeezy files for divorce from Jeannie Mai after 2 years of marriage

Jeezy has filed for divorce from wife Jeannie Mai after more than two years of marriage.
According to court docs obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Thursday, the “Put On” rapper - whose real name is Jay Jenkins - said that he and the former “Real” host are separated.
Jeezy is seeking joint custody of his and Mai’s 1-year-old- daughter, Monaco. The estranged couple also have a prenuptial agreement in place, per the outlet.
Reps for Mai and Jeezy did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
Jeezy, 45, and Mai, 44, tied the knot in their Atlanta home on March 27, 2021, after three years of dating.

Your statement is offensive. It’s a generalization that if made by others, we would not appreciate it. I’ve been married for 40 years and have never been a single parent. Shout out to the ones doing it, but it’s not fair to men like my father and husband to make such an unfair, stereotypical, generalized statement about black men. I don’t like it when our men say things like this about us just as much. Can we please stop demonizing each other. There are enough people around us for that.

She was so sure he’d be different with her. No one wants someone’s marriage to fall apart, but low key I feel she felt she was better than everyone else and all that was proved was she got the same BM we all get. Every time she was out their bragging about him and how he proposed etc I cringed bc I knew the day would come when she’d regret it. Didn’t think it’d be this soon tho. Best of luck to them both

I think their divorce maybe has to do with her family especially her mom is too much into her life. I can be 100% wrong but it wouldn't be surprised if it has to do with the extra family..

Hope he has a solid prenup...I remember watching her on her show saying women should be able to spend their child support on spa days and splurges for themselves....😮
