Since his passing, Jeff Beck has been labeled as one of the rock and roll guitar icons. But in reality, Jeff Beck was way more than that. He was the only guitarist of the rock era to not be defined by a single style or - even worse - a single guitar solo. Beck had the ability to make the guitar sing melodies with heartful feeling and emotion. I've seen Beck perform - he's the only guitarist I have ever seen smile while he plays! Plus, he is constantly aware and visually in awe of the musicians he is performing with. That is also very unique. He was not only an incredible talent, he emulated kindness and passion. It's clear to me that Jeff Beck made the world a better place and with his untimely passing, we lost a bright light. He will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace...
Jeffs passing affected me much more than anyone else. Artists like Glenn Frey, Charlie Watts, Gary Moore and Alvin Lee passed away, I was sort of sad. As I heard Jeff had left us, I had to shed a tear, like it was a personal friend!
Jeff Beck has brought me to tears with the beauty of his playing more than once, this is no exception. Hes a legend worth every word of his reputation!
R.I.P. Mr. Beck. Truly, 1 of a kind. Sorry Sting but as much as I respect you and your music, this in no way, will ever come close to the version featuring the reunion of Rod Stewart and Jeff Beck. So much soul, so much feeling in their remake. Brings tears to my eyes. There will never be another Jeff Beck. Thank you for your DECADES of BRILLIANCE. R.I.P.
We are never ready to lose legends and heroes….like we just recently lost the great Jeff Beck and now David Crosby has just joined his friend on that train…to the the big jam up in the skies above! Rest in peace to both Beck and Crosby who both made such wonderful contributions to music! Sting does a wonderful job leading this and the rhythm section of Tal Wilkenfeld and Vinnie Colaiuta is just awesome! All these artists were and are so special and what an appropriate tribute number thats almost like a prayer sending the souls who’s time it is to go on Home!
Jeff's axe became a part of his entire being ,spiritually, emotionally, physically, mentally. It was his high and man he just had fun blowing people away with his sublime guitar strat rat playing. Love him ❤️ RIP JEFF❤
I’ve not been around nearly as long as Jeff beck. But when I heard that he passed away today, this is the video that helps me remember him best. R.I.P.

When this song pop up to my cellphone RU-vid,,, I was hooked up to listen this song up as a tribute to Jeff Beck where in fact I didn't know him more despite with sting and steward as his some famous celebrity artists who were have been collaborated him with this nice songs. I'm quite not familiar with this song but when I listening to it the melody was superb with lead track guitar of Jeff Beck ,,, the melody is absolutely catchy Rip Sir Jeff
What a loss to the world.🎶🎶🎶🎶 I hope Jeff got on board that train, I would like to see and hear him again. I do have a soft spot for the Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee version. Blessings and kindest regards David from Australia. 🌏 🙄☝️
In a tribute to Jeff, I've been playing his music non-stop for over a week. I didn't realize so many artists sang this song. I've absolutely loved it since the first time I heard it sung by Jonathan Edward's in the 70's. Now I'm playing it on loop by everyone who sang it. Thank you Curtis for writing this beautiful song. It's so good, many want to pay tribute to you for it. ☝️Love you brother! 💕
Sadd loss how good was jeff no one will sound like jeff again master of the whammy bar and volume control be missed by millions thanks jeff for all the years of listening to you rip jeff thanks
Jeff Beck is just the best IMHO. Surronds himself with excellent talent as well Vinnie, Jason, & Tal are superb. Sting impresses here as well. One of the few that can still hit the higher notes & sustain.
Tal's just boppin' there in the back on this one... layin' it down. What a "childhood" she had. Interesting traditional take by Jeff and Jason on this version.
