Discovering this was a gift from the Lord Jesus Christ. I fell in love with my first girlfriend in 1985....then we lost touch...too young....then 32 years later we found each other after so many life trials, cancer, deaths, divorces, etc...our love sparked and we got married....we are on a permanent honeymoon. Thank you Lord! We found our All Time Love again...
Tweet and Eric Roberson + Jeff Bradshaw and Robert Glaspar= all time classic track. Tweet really needs to do more soul and jazz albums, it fits her voice perfectly. Awesome video with beautiful people
I love this song. Tweet is still very fly, vocally and physically. Eric is one of the greats, Bradshaw is freaking that horn. Combine them together and you get a modern classic. Donny and Roberta reborn!
Hey, I'm late on this jamin groove! This song is on repeat and it's a great steppers and line dancing song. The vocal arrangements are the best with Mr. Nice Guy Roberson singing with Tweet sweet sound. This maybe My all Time favored collaboration so far, MATTERS PEOPLE PEACE&LOVE
Yea I just heard Lessons and when I saw his name this song came to mind as the only song I know him on and came immediately here cause this song is definitely a groove especially with Tweet too definitely great collab! 🎶🥰💯
+marques johnson - Nope, turn on the soul station and you will hear Adele, Sam Smith, Bruno Mars, Uptown funk, Justin Timberlake's bad MJ impressions and some Beyonce'. You are lucky if they sneak a Tyrese or Musiq Soulchild track in maybe every 2 hours. Takeover is in effect, all we can do is support folks like Eric and Tweet the best we can. Buy whats out and fill up their shows.
I agree with Bnatural Brown, this is true soul music. I miss this type of music, it is so underrated I saw this video for the first time last week and it blew me away. Great song by a great artist.
This just moves! Everything is just invigorating from the authentic Rhodes/rhythm section to the outstanding vocals. And of course the kick ass trombone solo (with the young man at his side!...) The balance /production /video make this video listenable and watchable many times!
Yet another dope track from some of the best underrated artists out here. I just saw this video on VH1 Soul and want to thank them for waking me up with a cool laid back throwdown jam! I want to download this song, but it isn't available on amazon music. I'm lovin this collab!! Excellent job!!!
AMEN... You understand music like I do... I don't get any of that in San Antonio, Texas... Makes me miss Dallas, Texas - Chicago, IL - and my home of homes, Los Angeles, California. . . . However, I would like to spend some time in Philly (which seems like the home of NeoSoul)...
I would like to say as a Music promoter, Jeff threw down in Philly Pa last night 08SEP2017 at Warmdaddy's one of MOST dynamic and crowd engaging Artist I have witness at Warmdaddys, Great job Zoe in getting Jeff and his awesome band from Philly to perform for us.
This came across my screen as a recommendation, when Eric Robertson laid that first vocal down....I was like who heck this guy, lifetime fan. Tweet is the cherry on top! I love Jeff and Robert...now have Al B Sure remake night and day live with this hit squad.
Never heard this song before now. But when I seen a collaboration of Tweet, Eric Robertson and Robert Glasper, I had to take a listen, and not surprisingly, I'm glad I did. Awesome tune.
This is from Jeff Bradshaw's album "Home: One Special Night At The Kimmel Center", which is out 3.31.15 and is available for pre-order now. iTunes and Amazon links are in the description box.
Eric Roberson is a fly ass dude man and anything Robert Glasper in is fly too!...beautiful people jammin and havin fun doin what they like!...thumbs up!
