This song has really inspired me. The man in this song is who I want to be. When the love of my life calls, I come. Nothing less. But I have work to do to be that man.
What I got from it was - when the world tries to keep you at a red light, fear(wolf) creeps up on you, your glass starts to feel half full and thieves try to still your vibe, give yourself the go(greenlight) and keep moving forward. Very spiritual and inspiring.
I FINALLY FOUND IT OH MY GOD!!!!!! I found this just now through Google’s music finder, and I sang the intro lead vocals. I saw this about a decade ago now on Rage. I’ve been looking for it since, and this is an amazing feeling. Beautiful song.

Though life brings us to the red light where we feel we can no longer continue, a simple cry to the creator can make the red light turn green and we can move forward with our life. I remember hearing this a couple years ago on Music Choice, was brushing my teeth and getting ready to go somewhere. This came on and i sprinted out the bathroom, tore my shin up on the corner of the coffee table tryna see who it was. This song is a classic and an example of REAL MUSIC!

Next year Glasper BETTER win another album Grammy for Black Radio 2...this track, the Faith Evans, Dwele, Brandy, Marsha Ambrosius, and the Norah Jones tracks are the standouts in my opinion, but the whole thing is HOT!!!!

+Amaya Smith I'm going to elaborate on my comment. But take it with a grain of salt because it's my interpretation. Jill has been open about her struggle to find love. In the video she stands with a group of plastic mannequins - this represents her being a unique woman in a sea of what feels like copy-cats. In the car she's stuck at a crossroads or a place where she can't go any further. Robert Glass comes in and changes that. He takes her to the next place - moves her beyond where she's stuck and he's the only one who can do that. Or at least they move to the next stop light lol! The wolf is left behind. I think it represents the old her who didn't need anyone. This is way less poetic than my first explanation but more specific. Good luck out here people. Love is hard!

I absolutely LOVE this album (so much that my ten year old knows EVERY word!). I love the vibe and the flow. It reminds me that great music still exists, and great artists are very present in spite of todays popular music. Waiting eagerly for the next project!
