Same, I had no idea it was the same person. So much so, that when I found out I began searching youtube to see if there were any videos of him reading the content.... i'm still in awe of his talent.
Yeah, that's what everyone says when I tell them it's one guy, Jeff Hays. My coworker didn't believe me that Donut wasn't voiced by a woman, lol. That's Jeff for you. And once you get used to his narrations, it makes it harder to listen to other audio books.
The hallmark of a great voice actor. You should give Andrea Parsneau a listen as well. If you got these two together they could voice any story in the world and convince everyone it’s a full cast.
That was incredible. I just wish we would have been able to hear, "Now get out there, and kill kill kill!" I was led here by a reddit forum where a guy complained that credit was not given to the voice actors of Princess Donut or any of the other characters. LOL I can't wait for more books! Mr. Dinniman, Sir, if you're reading this please don't pull a Kong, and leave our hero's stranded for too long. Mr. Hays, please take good care of yourself, and those golden vocal chords of yours!
This man is an amazing talent...... just listened to all the DCC books and I'm so glad I finally gave this series a chance. The narration absolutely makes these such an enjoyable listen. Just found out about Soundbooth Theater, will absolutely be purchasing content from there.
I love this series. It is so unique I don't want it to end but I also really want to see what happens next. Super excited to see "if" they ever get to floor 15!!
dungeon crawler carl was my first introduction to the litrpg genre. with dinnimans writing talent and Jeff's voice acting, anything else seems moot in comparison.
