@@tubandt84 don't think so and it seems alien but then i think about how many times he had to play it...to write it, to record it, to play it live over and over. probably ingrained in his memory at that point
@@tubandt84 Yeah start to finish, the full song. I'm sure he's messed around with various parts of it here and there, I know for sure he's demonstrated the lead section before to people.
Honestly even with the fame Jeff has found he is still one of the most underrated guitar players, especially when it comes to rhythm playing, he unbelievable lead playing overshadows his other incredible talents, pure awesome.
Agreed. Peeps don't know what underrated means. Jeff is my 2nd fav guitarist next to Lynch. I met Jeff and George at Winter NAMM, 2019. It was awesome! 💚🎸
I wonder if it's hard for him emotionally to play these songs now. Definitely the most underrated guitarist of our time. Nevermore is one of my favorite bands
@@tubandt84 jep, people these days throw around words and don't even know what they really mean half of the time. just repeating the same 4 sentences they heard somebody else utter and copy paste
Well hello Jeff Loomis it is nice to meet you pretty kick ass guitar skills man I have to say when you haven't played for a while or a certain song and you get back to it it is so rewarding
A great solo for warm up haha Loomis and Tony iommi, two guitar riffs gods My mind blow away first time I listened "my acid words" , and when I met Warren here in Brazil and ask him to sing this song he told me "next time" Well, after a month he passed away.
Okay so we get to the finger tapping part and my jaw just dropped. I'm a child from the '80s so my hugest influences were Steve Vai and Kurt Cobain odd combination but what you're doing I'm super interested in because this is where I'm at musically lately
'I have'nt played this song in like.....11 years..haha!' well you know what, that hit me REALLY hard!I bought Dead Heart back in 2000 the week it came out.It was like my 10th cd i had back then.It was like a religion experience, Blew my mind!Set the bar so high for each album after that..i mean if they can play like that EVERYONE has to play like that!Little i knew that Nevermore made history and Jeff took himself on a totally new level only with the best. All hail Jeff Loomis,All hail Nevermore! (quick tip:2000, what a year for metal man!some of my all time favorites released like the same..month!Dead Heart,The Haunted made me do It, Gateways from Morbid,Follow the Ripper...also Halford,Maiden and Motorhead released some of their best works!)
He's super kind and warm in person too. I got to talk to him for a minute when he did an appearance in Wisconsin and he was just awesome to talk to, gave me a hug and signed my t-shirt.
I had always wondered what Jeff or Dane could do when they had already reached the height of metal in their first band. Now that Jeff is alone, I see that I was sadly right.
I saw this guy live once and it was so infuckingsanely loud that everyone in the venue left to go to the lobby and plug their ears until the next act came. Absolutely stupid. Not sure if that was just the sound guy or what
OK dude there’s a new gun slinger. I don’t know how New he is but he can shred ungodly lyrics….name of Victor Smólski check him out. He has no style. He just plays the guitar till it breaks in half like Eric Steckel.!!!….
