@henrikschaller8584 Shout out to @henrikschaller8584 for posting this video! What a great time this was! @jacksonguitarsusa @seymourduncan @jimdunlopusa
me too, at first i was listening to dream theater but it didnt got me in the 7 strings yet , i rememeber saying like naaah doesnt sound that much better than six, but with nevermore i was blown away but the depth of the sound and the fact that they really highlighted the fact that is a 7 strings
I absolutely agree, I do hear something a little more gridy with the Jackson's over the schecters though. Even though I love the loomis schecters, I can hear a more raw tone when he plays the Jackson's. Maybe more transparency? Idk. But he's definitely got his attack and ear down!
We can see, and hear the great sense of adulation in this video that you have for your work in Nevermore. It feels good to see you playing and enjoying it.
I was seeing you with Nevermore on the 11th of March 2011 in Munich. Because of your unique and excellent guitar style it was one of the best live performances I ever saw. Your guitar playing accompanied my life now than for more than 1,5 decades and i honestly hope you get the chance to show this style again, because it is one of the best in existence.
Without any doubt one of the best guitarists in metal. Jeff needs to join a bigger band than Arch Enemy, a band that will fully allow his talent to show.
I see on the banner behind a writing "rosengarten Mannheim". Damn, I should have missed it, fuck! But - first of all as I've heard this voice in the background of the record, I could not help but to lose a tear for one of the best voices in metal of all times...
What are you guys going on about? Jeff and Michael both work on riffs and solos. Micheak when said in an interview that they exchange riff ideas. Also, arch enemy isn't Jeff Loomis. It's arch enemy. It's a business. And if you produce for that business you want to produce the style they're known for. If Micheal gave Loomis free reign then arch enemy would become a second nevermore. You guys are incredibly irritating.
"Haven't played this song in...eleven years" Nails it note for note. Us who never ever managed to play it anyway: " We are just a joke to you right..?"
Damn Jeff!! So cool watching you riff out one of my many favorites of yours. That solo has such a great feel where I’m falling & falling, then my wings spread as I hover over the river dragon seeing its destructive path from an intimate aerial view. I never learned all the rhythm parts to this song & of course not the solo but I have made it up to the solo.😜 the intro is so cool. Very creative brother. Grateful I met you years back with Keith in Mesa AZ on your Conquering Dystopia tour. Thank you for all the amazing music brother. Cheers man 🍻
He said that he haven't played this in eleven years, but he might did this every single day for eleven years before. And the guitar parts he also recorded. So, think about that. Hahaha
Awe. My favorite song by Nevermore. Wish they would reform and find a singer that sounds similar to Warrel. I know there is no replacing the best singer of all time!!! But still these songs need to be played again!!! Miss Nevermore and Warrel so much . I was there at the memorial for him . The guy that sings for Sanctuary now does an amazing job and I think he would nail the Nevermore stuff too. Would love to see Van behind the skins again. It’s been so long. Anyone out there knows that Jeff is doing the Arch Enemy gig for a paycheck and that’s fine . Nothing against that band !!! I just know many like me want to see Jeff doing something else because that’s not his band!!! Much love ❤️ and respect Jeff. One of the most humble and awesome guys I’ve ever met!!!!
Yeah man, I would definitely have mixed feeling about a reunion because Warrel's voice and presence were so unique, but on the other hand, I never got to see them live and those songs deserve to be played, so I'd definitely go see any kind of tribute/revival. I really don't think Jeff has any interest though. We'll see...
Legend. I love Warrel (RIP) but if they could find someone to replace him, I’m all ears. They don’t even have to write new stuff (Warrel is a lyrical genius) but to tour again would be amazing.
Hi kids not being critical of anyone here, but in the last 5-6 years I have talked to quite a few young players male&female in music stores who have discovered Mr Loomis and love the band & him.Have good one folks.
Uhh !! Now Jeff is playing a Jackson ? WTF I switched to Schecter after hearing Jeff for the first time. He was Jamming with Keith Merrow. He's bada$$ too. I'd be in vocalist/bassist heaven to have Jeff or Keith as guitarist in my band.
