This could have easily been a Roy Orbison song. Instead we are blessed with the strings, the clean rhythms, and the sharp lyrics of something only Jeff Lynne can create. Thank you Jeff! You summarize my feelings and play some heartstrings that only you can ❤️

@Graham Barker Yeah, it's not much "Jeff Lynne's ELO", more "Jeff Lynne". It's only "Jeff Lynne's ELO" when it's live and there's like a 13-piece set with him but still, ELO was Jeff's concept so he calls it "Jeff Lynne's ELO" anyway.

It's a classical melody of the 60ies. There were many songs like that. I learned playing guitar, many years ago, I don't remember aexactly ll the cords and had to check it. Something like Chord progression in the key of C major.

Its better than the last album AITU. There are more of those little Jeff Lynne magic touches that make you crave for more. Harmonies are better too. Fair bit of string sounds as well. Nice one Jeff.

Yes, he played almost all instrumentation except for some piano and keyboard parts by Mr. Richard Tandy. Great, isnt it? :)
