Jeff Mayweather talks about the loss of his brother, Roger Mayweather. Roger was Jeff's hero and he discusses the good times an the bad times, and what the loss will mean to both him and the sport of boxing.
I remember being a top amateur...and I tried to box Roger when he was World Champion...he swatted me like a fly...and I posed as much of a danger to him too :)
If fans miss him how much must his family miss him ,just a great man great character the real lovable rogue ❤️☺️, 🥊🥇🏆🙏🏽going to miss seeing that face in boxing , hearing that voice . Much love Jeff and family In memory of the great Roger Mayweather #Blackmamba#
Yes Roger is the best trainer and Floyd Sr. Is the 2nd best. However, Floyd Sr. trained Roger (early on) and Floyd Jr. Then Roger trained Jeff (early on) then stepped in for most of Floyd Jr. career. Without him, none of this even gets started. Roger also trained the 96 olympic team, Laila Ali and Vernon Forrest. Vernon Forrest' trainer after that (who learned from Roger also) trains Mykayla Meyer today. I can see why Meyer keeps improving because she has an old school trainer. All roads lead to Floyd Joy mayweather sr.
his corner talk was so simple but amazing !! " bitch is getting tired , just be you " 1 Floyd knew exactly what to do with a few stern words from Rodger , exactly what was needed
Jeff is a wonderful human being and Roger seemed like a really good guy. Floyd Sr....he's not so bad. Floyd Jr....it's hard to say. I don't think many people know the real Floyd - not his public persona. All really good fighters. All from the same family. Amazing.
You can have top notch skills and Roger would tell you, you're nothing.. and you have, to understand, that he was so PRO FLOYD, that the biggest mistake, you made was speaking, to him, about training you. .. it's imperative, that a young man learns family sticks, together, to progress, again, in life. 🤧 I thought he faked his death.. 🤧 thanks for the clarity 🤧⬜.. here .
