Rosario has the kindest way of getting Jeff's attention when she wants to pet the animals or hold them. She does a little finger scratching motion on his sides and he knows what she wants and gives her the baby gator without causing interruption to the show. An alligator can inflict massive damages when shutting its jaws on its prey at about 3500 pounds of pressure per square inch. But when opening its mouth, it is incredibly weak, like Jeff says in the video, you can basically hold it down it two fingers

Oh no, I did not mean that and I don't even want to google what that is. I mean so called 'learned helplessness', which is about breaking animal's will. Of course you hear a lot about it regarding radical cases of elephants in Thailand and circus animals, but learned helplessness can be taught by punishment and negative and positive reinforcement. Basically the animals learn that there is no point in struggling because only unpleasant things follow.

I'm not saying that they aren't drugged or who knows what, but if you have ever brought a kitten into a new home you would know that they get scared in new places and often don't move from one spot for a while or until people leave the room. I'm sure the baby tiger was extremely nervous in a room full of people.
