Good flights Jeff! The night flying can be a lol scary though with some lights not being right for after dark. But still fun!!Glad to see him finally get this plane back into operation! The Viper is an amazing machine that I am never getting tired of!!!
Nice flying. Do remember if you guys did a range check with this BNF viper. Its appears with BNF safe enabled models they show many frame losses at ground level. Sometimes 1 hold. Did you guys ever notice this to?
nice! i have quite a few EDF's but since I no longer have access to a paved runway I can't fly them. But this Eflite Viper off grass is perfect. I'm going to have to get one now. How does it do with longer grass?
Just bought mine 3 weeks ago abs have 4 flights on it. Best airplane I have EVER flown. However, I was flying it at full power for about 3 mins and upon completion of a loop a trail of white smoke came out of the tail pipe. I lost power, but was still able to glide it in with no problem. Glides very well. Horizon is sending me a new ESC free of charge under a warranty claim. Not sure why it blew. But it’s a bit concerning. I CANNOT wait to fly it again!
Wondering if you need to go into that ESC and change, or disable, the cutoff. Looks like it's set to surge. Guessing you don't want it to do that at the wrong time in your flight. And at some point, it will.
