I hate to admit it that I am truly becoming a fan of Ostapenko 😂 Laughing at her own misjudgement? A hug at the net? Surprises all around. But what wasn’t a surprise is she delivered on power. Great match!

I watch both of the matches: when Jaqueline won in St. Petersburg, Ostapenko didn’t even made eye contact with her. And now, when Penko won, she gave her a hug?!

It was actually other way around. Cristian actually was the one who gave to Ostapenko a hug. I fucking love Jacqueline so frickin much.

I still remember their classic match in St. Petersburg, where Cristian played amazing, aggressive tennis (winning in straight sets) and i also remember the ill-feeling between the ladies during and at the end of that match! I'm very glad to see time has proved a great healer - was also surprised to see Ostapenko applauding a winner from Cristian in this match! Jaqueline Cristian is a fabulous player but just lacks any consistency - her results should be far better than they are.
