I grew up devoutly Christian, church twice on Sunday and Wednesday nights, around 16 the church and I had a large falling out over the hypocrisy of the Preacher and Decans. For a long time I have thought myself agnostic, but over the past few years I have found God again just not in "The Church" this song brought me to tears the first time I heard it because it captures how I feel so much about religion, god, and the church.
