Both of these men are 💯 legit. They speak about thee hard times they have been through. It sounds real because it is real. A lot of people in their shoes would try to hide what they did. These men have embraced their wrong doings and are pushing to do better not only for themselves, but for their families and their fans. Pick any song by these two men whether a collaboration or by themselves. You can't go wrong.

If you want to know more about Jelly Roll and where he came from, he started getting some recognition with his 10 minute freestyle about 10 years back, he did it from his trap house where you know he was dealing ha. It's a fun freestyle though def worth a listen and knowing he came outta that to where he is now. And Struggle Jennings- God We Need You Now, is the best song out in years from anyone imo, highly recommend.

Struggle is a real one. Did 5 years in prison for selling/trafficking cocaine. Didn't snitch and took his case to trial

Both struggle and jelly are from the streets.Both have done time in prison.Struggle did 6yrs in prison for the biggest drug bust in Tenn.They both make music about stuff they have lived.
