Never had done a haircut before and i tried this on my daughter since she has been bothering me all week, and i got to say i was nervous but i followed these steps and her hair came out like she wanted.

i went to the hair salon the other day and i showed a jelly cut as inspo, I said i wanted the bottom of my hair a bit longer than the photo (like 1 cm longer) and she says that she can’t do that for some reason and that i can’t have layers up to my chin with long hair even though it was on the inspo photo, anyways all she did was give me layers and when she was done my hair was as long as the in inspo photo, I had to say that i likes it tho since i’m not someone who wants to make a stranger upset, but yeah i was really disappointed 🫠

Tell her it's not supposed to blend. The top is shorter and layered. The bottom is disconnected and long from the occipital down.

doing this on my wavy hair rn... wish me luck update... I was scared to cut it short because my hair is really thick and I thought it'd look bad(I'm not sure though...?) 😭 so mine definitely didn't turn out to be a jellyfish cut 💀✋ I don't like it but it doesn't look bad so idc maybe I'll try again after a straight perm haha

do you know what let me give you another update- hair turned so feathery that it won't stay in place, it literally curls upwards I look so fucking stupid so if you're ugly and have a thcik wavy hair don't do this!! 😭😭 regret...
