This show really had some nice proggy chords and intervals in their songs. I love how the mash up between the bands transitioned so well even though you can clearly hear their different attitude in the sound. It was and still is NEVER boring to listen to it.

The misfits riding lightning bolts is just such a vibe I love how they made this disjointed and super contrasting

The arrangement and chord progressions in this song are EVERYTHING!!!!! I miss the music of the 80's.

The choreography at 1:15 is ICONIC

I remember when I rediscovered this song at college on Napster back in 2000!! It's been stuck in my mind ever since!!

The songs are pretty 80s but they aged very well! I remember this song so clearly.

👩🏻‍🎤🧑🏻‍🎤👨🏻‍🎤One of my favorite JEM songs, especially with its unusual clashing oscillation, adding to it the wicked punctuations of Pizzazz and The Misfits’ dissonance. It’s strange because this cartoon is dated, an ‘80s staple relic, and yet so much stylistically cooler and colorful and more creative than whatever’s happening out there now - especially in music - not that the present sparks a grain of curiosity.
