I always get annoyed when a licensed Monopoly game just uses Characters in place of the Properties, the first time i saw this i thought it did the same (the angle of the pictures meant I couldn't read what the spaces said) but this is a must buy now. Thanks for the video.

Holy crap. I've been watching your channel since I was five (back in 2012). Its amazing how your channel has grown. Man, I remember when the "death of godzilla" was the most dramatic thing ever. I also remember falling for the April fools prank for the "Monster Island Buddies Movie" stop motion thing. It just makes me so happy that you have stood the test of time. I also think it's awesome how you have been branching out a bit more. I love how you built up a unique story with your video game reviews, how you use a very underrated kaiju for your movie reviews, how you look at cool oddities for your playtime, ECT. I noticed how you are starting to upload more often, which is sweet. Anyway, the whole point of this comment was just to show my excitement for the future of MIB. Personally I think Minilla/Godzilla’s son was added because he’s one of the few Godzilla monsters that appeared in every era of the franchise like Godzilla,Mothra,Rodan,Ghidorah, and Mechagodzilla

Makes sense that 5 of the playable pieces in the Monopoly game are Toho's Top 5. Also with MIB wearing a Dinosaur glove and an Ape glove makes me feel like it's Godzilla and Kong playing against each other lol. And how has Rock em Sock em Robots with Godzilla NOT been a thing yet lol.

GODZILLA LIFE! Start out as minilla, no more pegs to stick into the vehicle, but micro sized monsters to put into the spot, on the space vehicle (replacement for the car of the regular version), the having baby spaces replaced with other monsters joining your clique. Lol On the education for college or a job route, you learn new defensive (job route) or offensive (college route) skills, like Shin (version) meltdown or multi laser attack. Instead of getting married, you team up with another monster, and go through various adventure description spaces, like attacking Tokyo, or getting into a scuffle with other monsters. The salary bills are Monster Moolah, of varying Yen denominations, with different Kaiju pics on them. At the Day of Reckoning space, either have enough yen to retire on Monster Island, or not enough yen, and slowly get dissolved by the Oxygen bomb.

Those games variants do look awesome, especially the Monopoly one. :) That 1978 Godzilla game if it was released in Japan, would have no doubt been by Bandai as they had (and still have) the toy distribution rights to Godzilla, plus Mattel never really had a presence in Japan. But Mattel distributing the American version would make some sense as Mattel had at the time acquired the toy rights from Toho for North American distribution as so to include both Godzilla and Rodan to their Shogun Warriors line of toys at the time. :)
