Thank you for the thorough review! I really like how you laid out an agenda for the topics in the video. That is the first time I’ve seen someone do this on their videos. Very cool. I have the OG ice cream truck. I love the waffle cone set but I already have so much ice cream. I don’t need it but it sure is tempting. I’m a food collector and I’ve started to try and be more selective with the sets I buy because it gets overwhelming to have so much of it!

I love this ice cream truck and accessories! It’s all so beautiful. I actually love the Jeni’s Ice cream outfit for the dolls. I purchased it yesterday and absolutely love it. Some say it’s too baby like, but I think it suits little girl perfectly for this Ice cream truck theme. It’s almost like a costume to wear for fun. I paired it with my pink and blue hair new truly me doll and it actually looks gorgeous. It’s just a fun outfit for the dolls. I love it all. Thank you so much for your awesome video. I truly enjoy them very much.
I think viewing the outfit as a costume is a very good way of looking at it. I've gone to Jeni's here locally for years and knowing the kind of outfits the employees usually wear, the AG outfit is over-the-top. But as a costume, why not? I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Mmmmm, wildberry lavender... that's one of my favs from Jeni's. I won't be getting the truck (not my type of "play"), but I am seriously tempted by the waffle cone set and the ice cream tote. That could definitely make for some fun photos and displays. I'm not a fan of the outfit, but I will say, your Joss looks adorable in it. Thank you for the video going over the pieces!
By far I feel like the waffle cone set and tote and the more 'must-haves' of this collection. Like you said, plenty of photo opportunities with just those two pieces :-)
It's shocking to me that the cooler bag with the pints of ice cream retails for $25, which is pretty reasonable for AG, but yet they charge $325 for the truck. Makes no sense at all. Especially considering that the OG truck is so much less expensive, has so many more pieces and I think a lot more play value due to the way it is set up. But we are talking about the people who created that ridiculous doll house.... But your review was great, as usual. :) Thanks for sharing!!
You are welcome, and I completely agree. I have to wonder how they decided it was a good move to make an ice cream truck in basically the same color as a competitor's for almost three times the price.
I like the bag a lot. We actually had some Jeni's employee shirts custom made so that our dolls can look a little less costume-y, but I think this option is fun, bright, and will appeal to a lot of children. (btw if you're curious, the custom shirts are revealed in a video I posted recently showing some random small hauls and a new CYO)
I know I’m going to get the tote. Might get the waffle cone set. I don’t think I’m going to get the outfit though and I don’t need the truck. The flavor table could be a great addition to the OG truck I think. Maybe I’ll get 1 or 2 of those eventually.
That was my thought exactly - YES to the tote. Yes to the waffle cone set because we already have a truck. No to the outfit because I just don't love it and $32 seems overpriced for what you get. Definitely NO to the truck. I'd have to see the table in person to make a decision.
Never heard of Jeni's ice cream. Here in Oregon it's Tillamook and Umpqua. This is all very cute and very expensive. I have a "My Life" bicycle ice cream cart from 6 or 7 years ago. I do have the OG Hot Dog cart. My granddaughter used to have great fun with them when she was younger.
Really dislike the outfit. Way too "babyish". Looks like a Wellie Wisher outfit. Thought these "girls" are around 8-10. So many clothes lately are like that. I know they aren't trying to appeal to collectors. But I feel even kids must get tired of all the netting and glitter. Love the things you bring to us, Kristie. Keep up the good work!
Oh, how fun is this set!! I've never heard of Jeni's Ice Cream company before, so it's neat that you have a branch so close to you. The flavors sound delicious. We have "Cream" here in our area, as well as a number of smaller creamers, but none with the same fun designs as Jeni's. How cool that you found the OG version at the thrift store for such an amazing price, and that you had already been collecting the accessories 🍦🍨😄💕 I really enjoyed this video 👍👍👍💖

My wife plans to get it. I think she just wanted to wait until she has a reward or there is a points multiplier (or both). We both have annual budgets for our doll purchases and track faithfully so I think she was just trying to exercise some restraint lol. But I'll definitely review it when she buys it :-) The ice cream will be great - she even bought waffle cones to make it legit.
I actually went to the Columbus store today and they were sold out of the tote. Bummer. After seeing the outfit in person I might actually get it if it goes on sale since I like the top and shoes. I think the table is also really cute.

I love this video so much!!! We think so alike ❤ also I’m in love with the sets you got from AG to go together with your OG set. I plan on doing the same. The waffle maker is so realistic I’m very impressed. The value in the OG set is no doubt so much better than AG and I prefer the truck itself to the AG one!
Yeah, the waffle set IS realistic. Someone mentioned you might be able to get some neutral clay and use this set to make some extra waffle cones. I'm interested to test it out and see :-)
@@agtakesover that would be such a fun experiment! Could you use polymer clay? This way you could bake it after it’s moulded and it would be solid. I’m not sure what type of clay you were thinking of trying but I’d think that would be so cool!
I'm familiar with Jeni's, since I live in the area, but I didn't know they actually had trucks and not just stores. I don't always love brand collabs but this one is adorable!
I think I would get the OG truck with Jeni's accessories. I know it wouldn't be as cohesive but I think the OG truck makes more sense financially and it's more play friendly. I know child me would be frustrated that the dolls couldn't go in.
Agreed. I am genuinely impressed by the multisensory aspect of this collab, since that's not always something that stands out to me with AG (especially with collaborations). And considering a toddler can actually fit their entire body in the OG truck, it's kind of astounding to pay a crap ton more $$$ for an AG truck you can't even have your doll stand up in lol.
We also have the OG ice cream truck and I plan to order the 2 sets to add to what we have . We are not going to add stickers ok with the product being OG. I was not sold on the outfit but will look at it in person to decide. I can see my granddaughter loving the outfit
I think because Jeni's started here we're more inclined to personalize it. And yes, the outfit might appeal to your granddaughter much more than it does to me. I think you'll really like the tote and waffle cone set.
I thought about getting the tote bag that comes with the ice cream and I wonder is the smell strong or is it a light scent? Also would please if u go back to the ag store get a picture or footage of the wellie wishers flying pig she just came out when the ice cream set came out please and thank you so much I am afraid is going to be really small not worth 26 dollars Also I would love the ice cream truck the our generation one is seems better over all for the price and how you can use it
I don't think it's an overwhelming scent, but it's at least noticeable when you sniff the ice cream. I think it's adorable. And I will be happy to get footage of the pig and the other wellie wishers things. They were not out yet on the shelves when Grace was there the other day.

My daughter has been begging for the Jeni’s ice cream truck for months and months. I finally bought it along with the other Jeni’s accessories and I’m excited to check everything out! She’s getting it for Christmas. I know it’s expensive and I even showed her the OG version and tried to get her to love it but she didn’t. She kept talking about Jeni’s. This is also the first brand new big AG item that my daughter has ever gotten and it will be special and she will play with it for years!

I love Jeni's ice cream! I'm from Ohio so I would get Jeni's all the time. I live on the west coast now, so I don't get it as much. I just ordered the bag & ice cream set after watching a few videos about the collab, including this one. Thanks for the review!
@@agtakesover Honestly I like them both! I like that they're similar but at different price points, so it's accessible to more people, at least in terms of finances. I find myself choosing OG accessories/furniture over AG ones. But I prefer AG dolls & clothes. The old clothes though - from the 90s. Much of the new stuff feels like too much pink for me
I relate to some of this. I rarely buy OG clothes and I never buy OG dolls, but I love several of their furniture/accessory sets. Have you seen the greenhouse? We don't own it but it's so cute!
I agree on the outfit. I won’t be getting that. I’m definitely getting the ice cream carry bag, and not sure about the waffle cone maker set yet. Either way I don’t feel rushed to purchase anything 🤷♀️
I would prioritize the tote and the waffle cone maker, but only if you have an ice cream truck or stand or shop or something. Otherwise, just the tote would be good enough. It also depends on the ppl doing the buying - doll photographers? ppl who make AGSM? children? a combo?

I agree that the OG truck seems like a way better deal and then adding the 2 smaller sets. I’m going to see them in person first, but I really love mini foods, so I can see getting the waffle cone maker set and the tote set. The waffle cone maker set has me wondering if you could use it to press waffle cones out of clay and then shape them using the tools provided? Might be fun to try if I get the set. 🤔
