I could never figure out why they didn't have Bobby & Jenna end up together after Victoria Principal left the series. There was good chemistry between Jenna & Bobby. And zero between Jenna and Ray.
I love the way JR "approved and supported" Jenna through thick and thin for Bobby. He never said one bad word to her or about her. Damn how much he hated PAM
I think that Bobby and Jenna's biggest problem was about trust. First Jenna dropped Bobby for Naldo. Then she was not forthcoming about who Charlie's father was, when Naldo came back again Jenna allowed Naldo triangulate the situation. Bobby didn't help either in the trust department. He was not honest with himself or anyone else concerning his feelings for Pam or Jenna. TBH they all needed counseling before anybody had a relationship with anyone. No one could really trust anyone else
@@dawnyzaguirre8851 He did. It wasn't intentional, but it was still using. Jenna was a "rebound love affair". He was trying to forget about Pam. That happens very often when you start dating shortly after a break up. Bottom line: never date someone who broke up less than 2 years (and I am being generous!) ago. (s)he needs to recover first.
No, the thorn in the marriage was the Barnes Ewing feud and Pam's selfish character, it was always about her, never about them. Jenna had nothing to do, she would have been a better wife however, as she had no baggage like Pam, she knew the Ewings and even JR liked her.
Jenna should never have spoken to Bobby again after he dumped her AGAIN when Pam was around. He only wanted Jenna back because Pam was now forever gone.
This is a good scene we see another side to Bobby, not the man who is the perfect son, his brothers favorite brother, the best uncle but the man who turned his back on his own son and the women who probable loved him the most, the new series made a mistake not bringing Lucas in.
+gammergq Bobby wasn't in love with Jenna and even she knew it because she's the one who broke their engagement because she knew he was only with her out of obligation.Also biologically Bobby is Lucas's father but maybe Bobby doesn't see himself as Lucas's father.Bobby knows sharing blood doesn't make someone a parent.
The new series messed up a lot of things, including the relationships on the show, the characters, and how they fit into those relationships. I mean Pamela and John Ross was pure gold, but they really messed up when they turned John Ross into a cheater, and made Pamela the helpless wife. I didn't expect John Ross, and Pamela to have a roses type of marriage, but I expected them to go through the trials, and tribulations of marriage, the challenges it faces every day. But Cidre and her writing team totally destroyed that, they made Cliff Barnes resemble a crime boss, they included Emma Ryland as John Ross mistress, which REALLY pissed off a lot of John Ross/Pamela fans! Then Christopher and Elena were such a weak boring couple, he had way more chemistry with Heather. He should have been with Heather at the end of the day. And the Ramos characters should have never been involved.
I don't see it like that Gammergq. Bobby may have been JR's favorite brother, the kids best uncle, and Jenna might have possibly loved him very much, but everybody who watched this show knew that he was always more in love with Pam than he was with Jenna. Fact is, Bobby is NOT PERFECT, he's not perfect by a LONG SHOT, and I'm sick and tired of people saying he is. He just comes off really self-righteous, and a right fighter. The only thing was he was in a very tough position because he was forced to choose between his own son, and the woman he loved more than anything. That wasn't fair at all, and let's be honest, Jenna settled for Ray, but Bobby has never settled for Pam. He loved her from the first time he saw her.
I agree! It was a missed opportunity for sure. Really, if Patrick hadn't left the show, the story could have played so many ways. Although I enjoyed Pam and Bobby, I am Team Jenna all the way once Priscilla assumed the role. I always wanted Charlie to be Bobby's child. It's a shame that we didn't get to see Lucas raised by Bobby and Jenna. I hated this scene. Bobby was so sanctimonious as if he never loved Jenna except when they were kids. Crazy talk.
Priscilla always looked best with her natural medium brown hair, and she did suit the black hair she had while married to Elvis. But, I really don't understand why she kept changing it and dying it different shades of red or blonde, when they clearly didn't suit her!
Ignoring the whole dream sequence for a moment, consider this inconsistency. Bobby started having feelings for Pam again while Jenna was in prison. In the last episode before he proposes to Pam, Jenna is out of prison, he has his doubts, and he proposes to Pam but then finds out Jenna's pregnant. Bobby had his doubts, but he had one last romp for old times sake, huh? This was another reason I said the whole dream sequence ruined this show.
@@christianbrown3643 He was having his doubts while she was in prison. Look again. He starts getting amorous with Pam after killer chili. Jenna gets out of prison, she says she can't wait to me Mrs. Bobby Ewing, and the look on Bobby's face tells us all.

Why did they ever put Ray and Jenna together?!?!? That made NO sense at all when Donna was pregnant with her and Ray’s child. Bobby was being a real asshole here in this scene too. Smh
@@Stephaniewashere In the first 2 seasons Jenna played by Priscilla was this vibrant, young, modern, beautiful, young woman in just a few years with her hair and clothes she aged 25 years. Not talking about her real life.
@@rolltide9547 Ok.. any decisions about how she ever looked were her own, just like VP, who changed her look frequently. Her very first appearance, she did look good (and young although she was almost 40.) The more makeup she wore, the older she looked. But she was also aging.
Yes Sally Bobby was the biological father of the baby Lucas Krebbs he allowed his half brother Ray to raise him because of this scene here when Jenna admitted she still wanted Bobby. Bobby is Ray's half baby brother/Best Friend and it showed in this scene.
Wish this was Bobby holding our son in his arms me being his wife not Jenna because I would be telling him the truth and being honest with him all the time that is what our marriage would be based on, besides our love for each other
I never liked Jenna. Pam was Bobby's true love. They were the best couple on Dallas. Jenna sleeping with Bobby's brother was disgusting. She was a female JR. Remember Kristen.
Jenna was used by Bobby, she was just a insurance policy if Pam never got back with him, and as we all know sicko Pam stalked him when Jenna was in jail, as JR said “ dear lord that Barnes woman is gonna be on Bobby like a bee to honey”!!! And yes!! She was… I just watched the whole show on Freevee.

I think he thought she could take his mind off of crazy Pam , but she couldn’t. But I don’t think her used her . I think he truly thought he could fall in love with her again .
@@nowandthennn yes you do have a good point, maybe he didn’t use her, but the way he treated her after she got pregnant, just left her all alone, plus he had psycho jealous Pam constantly yelling at him about Jenna and the baby, but unfortunately he let Pam railroad him, even when she tried to buy Jenna’s baby for millions of $$ he let that go too!!
