Jennah Barry - Slow Dance 

This song has been a gem, to me, for years. Great melody, great lyrics. I love it.

Easily one of my favourite songs ever. 🥰

I was lucky enough to see and hear this lady many times at Ovens Park, in Riverport, Nova Scotia, some dozen, or so years ago, Since then The Lodge has undergone several name changes. When I first heard heard her, I believe the name was the Old Miners' Diner. She sang there and in the annual concert, in the field behind the Lodge. And Liam Frier, who's on guitar with Jennah in this video, is actually an amazing guitarist, with - when appropriate, - some of the fastest fingering I've ever seen.

Just heard on vinyl cafe a repeat. Today. Love it. I was in a mellow mood.
