How'd we get those arms figured out plus the tools we used to make them. Steel Tubing www.lowes.com/... www.lowes.com/... Cotter Pins www.lowes.com/...
Thank you. I wish we had remodeled it more like what you did as far as the roof. I was concerned about it withstanding highway speeds and high winds when popped up. It ended up being too heavy although very substantial. It was in extremely bad condition when we adopted it. So much was hidden until we were able to get into it. Yours looks awesome 😎
Not right off hand. We basically just cut them the same length as the one original we had left. But the bottom or foundation arms we found that we should’ve cut about six inches longer to compensate for the lack spring tracks that were ripped out and discarded. Does that make sense lol
It does! Thank you! I’ve been searching and I’m so glad I stumbled upon this. We’ve been having issues with our Jayco since we got and and at this point we want something simple. Do you have a video of how you open it?
@@almagile9768 they say we made one but I’d have to search it up. Basically we do it in stages with one corner at time and cotter pins to lock them in. It can get a suction on it at the beginning so you may need to use a lift board at get it started. We’re out of town on a trip at the moment but we can get videoed when we get home.
