I had no children. I became a Teacher and leader in my community, and took good care of everyone else’s children in my classroom. How dare you call us cat women! I’m a Professor emeritus and contributing every day.

I’ve heard many of people whine and complain about getting away from their kids. Not ONCE have I heard a cat lady wanting to get away from her cat.

So a woman “cannot be successful unless she has children and then if she is successful, she must be a DEI hire”. This message is so insulting to women and they will vote in November.

Some of the most consequential women in history were "childless Cat ladies': Queen Elizabeth I, Mother Theresa, Katherine Hepburn, Queen Anne of Great Britain, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Former British Minister Theresa May.

I'm proud to be a childless cat lady. BEARING A CHILD DOES NOT NECESSARILY MAKE ONE A WORTHY PARENT.

What a disgraceful comment. As a woman facing infertility issues, this comment shows how some view women who can not have kids…they value us as less than humans.

How about Tim Scott having no children? How about Lyndsey Graham having no children? Vance saves all his vitriol for the women of this nation. American. Men. Stand. Up. For. Us. This is not ok.

George Washington did not have children. He did help raise Martha’s children from a previous marriage.

1.) You can tell that woman on the FOX News panel was offended and that those other men were uncomfortable. I watched the video. They knew he crossed the line. 2.) I worked on Capitol Hill, and let me tell you. It is no convent. Those married elected officials-primarily male-are in frequent relationships with people outside of their spouses. 3.) In directly addressing what he said, Kamala Harris was reportedly dating Willie Brown when he had been separated from his wife for several years. I do not believe in dating someone even if they are separated. They need to be legally unmarried. However, it’s not like she broke up his marriage. It’s an extreme mischaracterization of that relationship. 4.) Kamala Harris did not become attorney general and then senator and then vice president because of Willie Brown. That man is not *that powerful. In fact, there are *few people on earth who are so powerful that their one connection can carry someone to that height for their entire lives. Even Robert Kennedy, who is a member of the most famous political family in American history is not able to ride that name to the White House or any form of national office because he has not connected with enough voters. Harris is where she is because of her own merit, not because of Willie Brown. 5.) It is *truly wild to me that anyone supporting Donald Trump is going to try to make the sexual purity argument. It is literally the height of hypocrisy. Several sexual indiscretions like cheating on every single one of his wives, this man was actually sleeping with a porn star while his current wife was pregnant with his youngest son. He is on video hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein, and I know that not everyone who hung out with Epstein, or went to an Epstein party was sleeping with young girls, but given Trump’s track record and the number of women who said that Trump assaulted them when they were under the age of 21, it’s likely that he was. All this is is what it always was, which is reducing black women down to our bodies. It’s not going to work, though. Kamala Harris is about to wash Donald Trump. I am looking forward to the debate, which I feel will probably not happen because Donald Trump does not want that smoke.

I don’t get it. Having a child doesn’t mean you will be a good leader of a country. Not having a child doesn’t mean you will be a poor leader who doesn’t understand the needs of your country or care about the future of the population. Don’t people with or without children have an equal stake in their country and an equal right to determine how their country should be run and developed? Don’t they have equal value and equal say? Why are those without children being discriminated against? It’s bizarre to me.

I have been married for 24yrs, with no child, tried IVF treatment twice and it all failed, so we decided to adopt, we got, two beautiful girls, who are now 19yrs and 10yrs, and i love them, so much, this kind of talk from JD Vance is hurtful 🧐🤦.

There are enough children being birthed by women who aren't too fond of them from fathers who just couldn't care less to be involved in theor lives. The foster system is a failure and too many parents arent raising their children and leaving that responsibility to public schools. We are barely getting by on our checks. It's real easy to talk when you can afford to have that responsibilty. It blows my mind that politicians are pushing for more children seeing the crisis the country is in.

Having children doesn't mean you have great policy ideas, are a patriot who is committed to doing the best for the country, have relevant experience or qualifications. I have two kids and in no way feel that magically makes me qualified to be a politician. Just such bizarre logic.

And no, maybe she wanted to experience carrying her own child and pregnancy, hence not opting for surrogacy before you go there and maybe she wanted her own children and decided not to adopt before you also go there… what else? And yes, adopting is noble and is helping a child in the system , so why don’t YOU go out and do it…. Have I missed anything? 🙄

I can't believe this is the political discourse in the US these days... My parents are boomers who once looked up to America. Now my dad shakes his head in disbelief at all the nonsensical crab coming out of the US. My parents couldn't have children of their own, so they opted for adoption. It was a long and protracted process. So hearing an American vice presidential candidate casually ridiculing childless people shocks and angers my dad, and me. Why would you go to such lows?!
