Jennifer did an EXCELLENT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I love how the melody bounces off her lips in staccato punches with crisp annunciations on the end of each word.
As a little white boy who grew up with this show, Good Times, Diff’rent Strokes, 227 & others this brought a flood of great memories. Great sets & costumes, they even got the ashtray next to the elevator! Jennifer rocked that afro!!!!
The best part is her face at the end. Whenever she sings a song well, her face shows it. (She sang impossible dream on the voice and her face was great too.)
Jennifer is definitely living her best life at this moment. I could not think of a better voice to sing The Jefferson's theme. I can already hear her singing the Good Times theme. She has definitely mastered her craft as a vocalist. I love you JHud.

Kids today got no patience to even watch a 25 minute sitcom, or god forbid you could tear them away from TikTok long enough to sit thru a 45 second theme song. Their loss.
Found this unexpectedly, and I was blown away! From the energy, to the back up singers, to the spot on recreation of the set, this was amazing - and her singing was - as you might expect - pitch perfect. Incredible performance all the way around!

Jimmy Kimmel and Jamie Foxx were the only ones who really interact with the audience, it was so much fun When he forget his line, the entire studio laughed too! I loved Jennifer! But since they brought back Marl Gibbs (Florence), it would have been nice to bring back Ja'net Du Bois (Wilona of Good Times), to sing it since she is the one singing the original theme song from back in the day.

Wow! Great performance. I kind of miss seeing Weezy and George through the car window as the song goes on, but this live rendition was excellent. They sounded so much like the original: all that energy and happiness rang true
Did not see it live this past week (May 2019.)However based on the online comments and reviews and watching the highlights online, this was without a doubt, the highlight of this Kimmel/Lear led Bunker/Jefferson Special.

A classmate asked where we lived, we told him in an apt building, he said "Oh like The Jefferson's?" We went home and told our Mom. She said "You should have told him it was more like Good Times" LOL.
