I've always felt like both Jlo and Ben only chose to be with others as a comfort or healing balm to their broken heart & soul. Jen G was a safe place for Ben but he was never in love with her. Same goes for Marc and all of JLos partners. They were just temporary fill ins to stop their bleeding hearts until they made their way back to eachother. Never have either of them glowed like they do now when they're in eachothers presence. It's beautiful to witness true soul mates. I couldn't be happier for them. Man, Garner is big in character and heart. I can’t think but many in her position would feel petty about the fact that Ben married Garner shortly after breaking up with López. And now he’s back to that same ex he initially dumped. Many would be like “what did our marriage mean to you? Did you pine after her the whole time?” Cause clearly it seems he never really got over López. So it would seem like Garner was a “placeholder”. MIND YOU, I think Garner is an AMAZING woman and if I were picking, based solely on heart and character, I would pick her. She is few in sweetness, kindness, and sincerity. Ben's not happy he can't compete with Jennifer's attention with fans & media. I remember with the first time JL & BA got married how she groomed him into a style other than his tardy look. He's starting to feel trapped again you can see it in his sullen mood swings. JG was never the cause of him becoming an alcoholic it was always there. Now he substitutes the chain smoking in replacement for the alcohol. JG was his continually picking him up, the one who pulled it all together when he hit rock bottom. Mainly she did it for the kids & she genuinely loved him, Ben doesn't love himself until he learns to love himself he can't love another & will revert back to old patterns. Who do you think will be standing at the side jumping into help? JG is good at co-parenting because that's who she is, the glue that holds it all together.
