i think in the movie or new series edina should start her own fashion line that would be hilarious,, being naughty, and utterly fab would work. i think threw patsy somehow some way is how she gets the gig and it causes her travel to various fashion locations like italy even africa which is where lola/jane is and thats when we see lola at the age of like 16 or 18 just getting out of school and being the new "glue" between edina, patsy, and saffy. I think jane prefers edina to call her lola and that will get on saffy's nerves. patsy should meet someone that is played by her but the character is so opposite it works. omg there is soo much they could do. I may be a "nobody" but jennifer saunders and dawn french get a hold of me i will collaborate with you all ... :))) i also work more creatively with a team than by myself as well!!
I loved Absolutely Fabulous. In the USA we are lucky to see a few episodes on LOGO. Ab Fab for me is like crack is to a crackhead, I want my Ab Fab. New episodes of Ab Fab would make my life complete, provided we can get Absolutely Fabulous in the USA!
In the 1990's Roseanne Barr bought the rights to AbFab and was planning on doing a U.S. version... I assume that was shelved.... Anyone know if Roseanne Barr still owns the show???
Peter Habel She doesn't own it. I think Carrie Fisher would have been funny but probably best it never happened. Saunders says her cameo on Roseanne was the worst experience of her Career. Roseanne has mellowed but was a total neurotic for a long time.
I love this show and all the ladies involved. I, however, hated what Jennifer did with Saffy. Going off to africa; getting knocked up; going to jail. I wish she had written Saffy as somewhat successful professional at something.
CC White I agree with you completely. 😊😃 I think Jennifer writing Jane (or Lola to Edina haha) out to live in Africa with her father, John Johnson (played by the late Felix Dexter) and then having Saffy doing charity work in Africa, visiting them from time to time, kind of kept Saffy's daughter out of the way, which sadly can't be rewritten as it is a fact in the show now, unless it was all in Edina's mind as a dream or something. 😄 They would have to do some kind of tribute to Mrs M (which I'm sure Saffy and Patsy would definitely do separately, or maybe, shock horror, together hehe) as June Whitfield sadly passed away before New Year 2019 and so won't be in any more possible future episodes. 🙁
CC White I will say that Saffy being the one coming out of jail while Edina was waiting for her, instead of Patsy, as we all may have thought, was a surprise and it definitely got a laugh and applause. 😄😃
