I screamed when I saw China Anne McClain coming back for this series finale!!! Great way to end the show

That plot twist was EVERYTHING!!! So glad Jennifer's back!!

I knew China was gonna return,, because remember when jj went ionosphere, she was stuck for a minute but when she was realest, the energy look like it wanted to grab her, like it had arms!!!

that was a perfect end to her character on the show .

I’m glad she came back, though I do wish she came back earlier because this fight felt rushed. Plus they inserted new info like the glaze in here which could have happened in the previous episode, especially since it seems as though Jen is really shook about her experience in the glaze. There would have been a longer(and honestly better) fight scene with JJ.

I think you guys are mixing contracts up with story. Regardless if China was returning for another season or not, this was going to be Jenn Pierce 's storyline this season. If they got okayed for another season, the imposter JJ probably wouldve been enough to make Jenn come back claim her body but then leave her family since most of them couldn't distinguish that she wasnt even there. But because the show was canceled they kept the same storyline and just ended up having Jenn sticking around, forgiving her family pretty quickly. If China would've explained all of this before hand, that wouldve taken away the surprise of her returning and gave up an important plot twist that I must say, must've fooled majority of us.

Although this fight was amazing, if they chose to expand this storyline throughout the season they could've done a fight scene with JJ and Jennifer as pure energy flying around. Would've been epic lol

Why was JJ voice like that in the ending?

This twist doesn't make any sense to me. Yeah, there were signs like her calling Jefferson daddy when she hasn't for years and her mother noticing something wrong with her DNA, but JJ did nothing bad throughout the entire season. I mean, she seemed to legitimately care for that boy that Tobias had killed and she exposed Chief Lopez. I just can't buy that she was a villain this whole time when she didn't do anything evil. I liked the twist that JJ wasn't Jen but to make her just a simple minded villain seems like lazy writing to me. And the fact that Jen essentially killed her seems a little dark. I mean, this isn't the first time that Jen has killed someone but I feel like JJ wasn't completely evil.

Either way I think they all saw the fall of DC CW run. Some left already, Some already leaving, and other's plan their leave as we speak. It's sad ...the shows, the crossovers, etc made me tune in. Now it feels like there has been a shift to get everyone to make their EXIT. I think the only shows worth watching now are Legends and The Flash.

I don't think this twist was adequately foreshadowed; not great storytelling imo. This would have worked better if the real Jen had only reformed after the emitter was destroyed, prior to which JJ had raised suspicion for being the only "meta" unaffected (the eventual explanation being that she is an alien, not a metahuman, so metagene suppression by the emitter had no effect on her).

I wont lie, I really liked the JJ actress and she tried desperstrly so hard to fit in to her old life. The writers did not serve this story well at all bc the actress played it straight the whole time and was so genuine in her desire to feel normal again. Which means the writers didnt have a real plan from the getgo. Instead of this terrible last minute twist that turns JJ into a villain, they shouldve made it that JJ still IS Jennifer, just incomplete. The rest of her aura particles were still in the ionosphere, that's why she kept getting headaches, feeling weak and drained of her powers. She needed to absorb the rest of herself in the ionosphere, which would cause her to re-explode and reform back into original Jennifer. JJ deserved better
