Actually, she first showed up in Tyler Perry's Daddy's Little Girls. And her real-life sisters player her sisters in the movie, too. And they can ALL sing. The oldest (Sierra McClain) can sing the best of all 3 of them, she was on Empire for about a season.

This is one of CW’s best shows and DCTV Shows too. They were able to have exciting action, discuss social-political topics that didn’t come off as condescending. But informative. The writing was janky at times, but overall, this show was iconic. I love it. The ending deserves better though

Watch episode 3x16. Then watch episode 4x01. The plot points set up for the rest of the season are completely different (no Brandon looking for answers about his mother, no Outsiders...). Covid screwed up season 4 so badly.

This show discontinued because it was awakening ppl more than they thought it would & china was one that awakened. She awakened to what the industry was doing to her. I’m so proud of her. This was a dope ass show. We needed it.

She can convert herself into pure energy. She's not always just pure energy. To answer your question, she can die but not when she's in her energy state.

Honestly I think she can't die, she was trapped in the ionosphere for a while without a body, and yet she was still alive. (When someone is without a body you're basically dead). She was able to reconstitute her body again after the fake Jen went back up there to view the city. I think only her physical body can die, but as long as her energy form is alive she can always make a new body, though she might need that machine from central city to do it. Hence my belief of her not being able to die.

The fight between Jen and JJ was so underwhelming. I expected more. And then JJ just casually mentions she a body-stealing alien. Like wtf? The writers could have at least given us some more foreshadowing.
