I'm a westerner, I've been to the Philippines province where family of up to 10 ppl share one house with bamboo strips weaved to make personal space walls, they use curtains for doors, the washroom has a tiny squat toilet that you need to flush by using a small 1 Litre bucket of water to flush down your business. When you have a wash you use a face cloth that is wet with soap on it to wipe your body down then use the 1 Litre bucket to rinse off. Cooking in the kitchen area is open flame with several steel bars over it for pans to cook on. The ppl have little mini shops which they sell goods to others around each other on the street so that they can make a little extra money to buy food like pork & rice. Most ppl sleep on the floor roll that has no comfort, it's very hard living, most westerners would not be able to cope there for a few days let alone a month because they all share electricity & pay a small fee for the bill, they have their TV, phone chargers, fans but no AC for cooling when every day is unbearable heat in still air with no wind & very humid. As a westerner you never appreciate what you have until you go live in such a place like above for a month, it's so amazing the feeling of coming back home.

Wish I could come there... prayers for her and family. She's beautiful and good heart to take care of her family thru the hard times.
