Sm keeps all their idols in a diet check out exo vlogs or red velvet videos they mention their diets where some have done crash dieting quick fixes or eat only low calorie diet food. Then during vacation or after promotions and comeback they are allowed to eat whatever but then once again go back to dieting once they have another comeback com8 g soon. Pretty sure most if not all idols do this.

Angelic K I think a lot of the Dreamies haven’t been forced to go on actual diets yet because they’re younger and since they’re guys they’re more active on a daily basis... even if they’re just messing around at home

Actually SM not really strict their idols to diet like Shindong, wendy, Xiumin, and others but some idols just feel uncomfortable when they r perform and lost their confidence with their overweight body, and then they r doing diet for next comeback just like Xiumin, Joy, wendy, yesung etc

I'm sure it has to do with body types. Some people gain weight easier. These two dance frequently and exercise a lot and are young so it's more than likely unnecessary for them to diet. Most of the SM idols who diet say they gain weight easily or they were trying to lessen hard to tone areas like cheeks and chin.
