Can't wait to see it Remade! Jenova deserves a much HARDER and Longer fight than she had in the past... she is the source of everything and in the original we could barely appreciate her theme since her HP was very small and her fight short...
hell we got an entirely new jenova boss that made me squeak with excitment, im sure if they carry on like that Synthesis is going to be an amazing fight.
@@КонстантинПаршуков-о6б Air Buster was an absolutely awesome fught. What an homage paid to him. It also was cool to know that he's actually STRONGER than how most people fight him after tinkering with his abilities. He was my favorite boss fight from the first remake.
jeah i also think its not fair that sephiroth gets the spotlight so much, since she is litteraly the force behind everything, but jeah enix noticed "sephiroth is markatable" so we didnt see much of her.
I must say, this is the best version I've found. Other attempts at remastering this track just plain fall flat, and are highly disappointing. But this? Holy damn. Top tier.
Totally agree with you there. I've listened to a bunch of remastered versions of this, some good, some not so good, but this one is definitely the best and keeps very much with the feel/sound of the original.
The biggest problem is most of these remixes/remasters blunt or remove a lot of the bass notes which help give it that thumping visceral alarming feel.
So if you know anything about DnD lore, I think of Jenova like an aberration from the far realm. It steals and takes form of things to devour and can destroy and use planets. It's closer to an ooze that can shapeshift and take on stronger forms.
@@clinthazzard7397 im not up on my D & D lore but that is interesting, i have been watching some lore videos, so i suspect im going to learn more :D thanks for the insight.
Basically, take The Thing. Reduce it's ability to corrupt others to some degree (It wasn't able to corrupt all of the old Cetra, and seems to need Hojo's science to really corrupt other beings in the present) but leave it's shapeshifting of those it does corrupt intact and give it powerful magic.
I theorize that Jenova probably isn't able to truly be killed. I haven't watched Advent Children, but unless the party made sure to destroy every single living cell of Jenova, it would still be alive. Technically, even if they did destroy all of the cells, they would have to kill Cloud because he's infused with living Jenova cells. So I think even if Jenova was never able to regain a physical form/body, there will always be living remnants inside of Cloud and other members of SOLDIER. We also know from the original FF7 that Jenova's cells are part of its conscience and they attract to one another in order to try and reform, so this proves that the cells count as Jenova being alive. Of course, it can still be up to your opinion whether you count the cells as Jenova being alive, but there is strong evidence supporting that theory. Sorry, you probably weren't looking for a long explanation, and I know others have already answered, but I felt like giving my own insight. Also good taste in subscriptions :D
*watches barret flung to the side and go still* Nova: mr. Wallace.....*eyes tear and get's a look like satan* Cloud: what the fuck is he doing!? *Nova runs up the tentacle and head locks the beast choking it out slowly while it rampages* Cloud: tifa! Do something!!! He is going to be killed! Tifa: cloud! I can't lock onto him to heal him!!! He's too close to the monster! ..... Cloud:....tifa... Let him go... Tifa:what!? Cloud: it's what he would want! He wouldn't want us risking healing the monstrosity!!! *Nova badly bleeding out* Nova:(I.....I won't give in until.....it's dead.....) *Falls into the abyss with choked out jenova* Cloud&Tifa: No!!!!!
