There are performances where Jensen sings more but this is one of the performances where he's obviously having an amazing time.

So Jensen started singing in front of the audience in supernatural conventions. At first he was very shy, his first performances are him sitting with a guitar, playing a few cords and silently mumbling lyrics. Fans loved it and encouraged him to sing more. As time went by he sang more often and more confidentely. What is funny is that in the begining he said things like "I don't do this", "I'm not a musician", fast forward to now were he has a band, three released albums and just recently had his first concert. Now he is full on rockstar on stage. What you saw in this video is him singing at a spn convention. It's a common thing, a lot of people from the cast (and their friends) sing or play instruments so they do these performances. In this video you can see another spn actor - Rob (playing guitar), he has his own band that has been official house band for spn cons for a long time now. Fun fact: Jensen puts his band's songs as easter eggs in episodes he's directing. You can hear his songs in the background in Supernatural, Walker, and The Winchesters

That’s during a Supernatural convention. On Saturday the band Louden Swain does a concert. And sometimes Jensen joins them. This one Everton was really excited because he is singing with Corey Taylor from Slipknot and Stone Sour. Jensen also has several albums out as the band Radio Company.

The band is Loudon Swain, the house band for Supernatural Conventions. Their lead singer, Rob Benedict has the fedora on, playing the acoustic. He was a character in the show as well, and co-hosts the Conventons with another actor/director from the show - Richard Speight Jr. Jensen's 'Whipping Post' cover is outstanding. His voice is tailor made for Southern Rock and Country. It's got a gruff deep tone.

Finally someone new reacting to Jensen’s singing! Sister Christian, Brothers, and Blow are my personal favorites. Blow is freakin awesome. God, Dean Winchester, and Death all singing together. Some awesome energy in that song. Brothers is just flat out beautiful, given the plot of the show. Especially with the fan video made with clips from the show.

He’s got a band called Radio Company, they’ve got some great hits. “Cannon Ball” is my favorite. 😄

He is not really the one singing in this one but it's still one of my favorite covers of Jensen. The guy next to him is Corey Taylor from Stone Sour. And yes, Jensen sings. A lot. He has two albums. He loves to perform at conventions and he did it for almost 15 years. And the band on the stage is usually a mix of Supernatural cast and other musicians because the cast loves to perform at Supernatural Conventions. Love the reaction! And as Dean Winchester would say, "Bon Jovi rocks. On occasion."

Jensen is a great singer and honestly you should check out some Supernatural convention videos because these they are very entertaining, multitalented and are natural comedians. I am not normally a convention fan but they are hilarious and you see how close the cast/crew all are.

Honestly, his vocals aren’t at their best in this song. He’s good, but he’s capable of some hella range. But what I love about this clip is just the drunk child smile he has on his face. He is so freakin happy during this performance, and it just makes you happy. I’ve pointed out my favorites in another comment. You could tell how shy he was for the first few times he sang on stage (as well as his first concert near Christmas of last year), but as time progresses, he feels comfortable enough to show his fans what he’s truly capable of. He does some beautiful ballads, classic rock (of course), some blues. He does great with a lot of different styles. This is one of the many things that make me really want to go to a convention. There was really no other show before it that had it’s own convention. But they got so big, and their fans so passionate, they had to do their very own setup. They created a house band with several different actors from the show, and they just create this energy. The show is great, but the actors they collected on that show are one in a million. The chemistry and love they have for one another is so evident and beautiful. I’ll add another to the list I made in a previous comment. SOB. You’ll get a kick out of that one. Great vocals, and lots of fun.

There's an older video floating around.. called something like Jensen Ackles vocal range.. pretty impressive. I think he's gotten better since that video was made. Search Ackle-Berry Blow.. cover of the Ed Sheeran song.. I like it better than the OG. I've never been on stage.. never want to be either. I'm content in the costume and make up departments, tyvm.
