Hello Enio, congrats, they are great speakers. They do best on open baffle, like so many speedy delicate 8" drivers, they don't appreciate the loading of a stuffy box. Production varies allot, between the C855 "felty" cap and the C855b etc. Q floats around 1 for some, but the better ones drift a little lower IMHO. My last (unloaded, unweighted bench test gave a particularly good sounding one : Fs 76hz, Re 7ohms, Qes.98 and Qts.89
@@newENIO11 Given that I have never seen any two drivers test perfectly the same -- I am not sure a simulation give you any guarantees -- and I have not heard these sound good in a sealed or ported cab (so far, but good luck of couse and let me know!) -- I don't extensively pull T/S, but my note also has: Fs 76.71hz, Qms, 9.6, Qes .981, Qts .89, zmax 75.46 ohms -- (as always, R-L bridge derived take t/s param's on vintage drivers with a grain of salt!). As noted some of the better sounding ones I have had have a even lower Qts of around .7
@@HiFiTown difference in measurements may have something to do with the age of these drivers and the environment they were in. i simulated a bass reflex design and the box came so big! i like it! ahaha i cant thank you enough boss.
