Fell in love with Haesten (and Jeppe) as soon as I saw him. Almost fell off the couch when Haesten was killed and cried like a baby, then I made up a little story of how Haesten recovers and everything was alright again. ❤❤❤
One of the greatest strengths of TLK is character development and making you feel contradictory feelings for the characters, making you love the ones you initially hated and occasionally the opposite. Haesten is a perfect example of a character you initially want to just see dead and then desperately root for by the end. He's a scumbag but by season 3 I was always delighted to see him in a scene. At the beginning of every episode I would check if Jeppe's name was in the credits, because I knew I'd enjoy it more if he was in it.
I LOVE all their accents. And hes so talented. He portrayed his character so well. His speaking maneurisms, facial expressions, tone of voice and at the end I ended up really liking him! So sad how he died too. Thank you for this interview!!!
I love Haesten! Hahaha I know I shouldn’t but he comes across as really funny so I can’t despise him in TLK. I think his beautiful eyes shines through.
Jeppe Beck Laursen is also a voice actor in Norway 🇳🇴 as he’s the Norwegian voice of Maui in Vaiana / Moana aswell that he voiced 2 other villains: Bowser in The Super Mario Bros Movie & Magnifico the new returning Disney villain in Wish. 🔥⭐️
Awesome! Haesten was such a cockroach on the show, I wondered why I still liked him and you confirmed it's because the actor who played him is very likeable. You should've introduced the guy though lol
