He is now and always be the best and most faithful interpretation of Sherlock Holmes ever. Fact. The man set the bar so high no-one can reach it. Not Robert DJ (personally if you are an avid fan of the books he was nothing like SH) with all the money to put into 2 films was a failier where as Jeremy surpased. Also I have Bipolar Disorder. He was very honest about his fight with what was known as manic depression back then, bipolar now. And I watched him faithfully for 10 years of his playing Holmes and loved every minute of it! Thank you Jeremy you were a fantastic holmes and a beautiful person too. You left us far too soon.
Certainly the most memorable interpretation of Sherlock Holmes ! Yes, quite remarkable actor indeed ! My dear Jeremy Brett... You'll be sorely missed !
Jeremy you live on in our hearts and minds forever. Gone way to soon. May your Candle forever Burn . You will always be the Holmes of my Childhood !!!!
They created a beautiful England that is of 19th century. I know victorian England was not all good but if you watch it in movies on screen( big or small ) it is mesmerising really. You can't find it in reality but it would live in your head. And this man ! Who can deny that seems so alike the literary character. He will addict you if you go on watching.
Oh please for once, stop looking so handsome Jeremy. I mean , I need to get along with life, man !!!! And you're a serious distraction and addiction. 😊

Jeremy was the truest intetpretation. JB had the mannerisms down to the raising of an eyebrow! Nigel Brucr was a crap Watson.. not his fault, They made him a bumbling idiot. David Burke & Edward Hardwicke both were fabulous in theit role and played Watson what would or could of easiest be on of us. Basil had the look and I used to watch him as a young kid... then mum and dad bought me the complete works of SH. Then Jeremys Holmest and David Burkes Watson exploded onto our TV screens. That was it. Jeremy nailed it. For 10 years he delighted us. We lost him far too soon. Only the good die young.
