Jeremy Clarkson’s dream of opening a restaurant has finally come true. He has now planned on opening a new pub. How did he make that possible? Where’s his new pub? We have tried to explain everything in this video.
Everything JC touches turns to gold so dont worry about the pubs success, just look at the queues at his shop. Staff at the pub also will be stars in a new show i'm sure.
Last thing I want when I'm having a nice relaxing meal,is to have a large TV screen pumping out pictures of clownish footballers running around to the accompaniment of demonic howls from those who can't live without watching football for more than 5 seconds. I like to be free of such assaults to my senses when I'm relaxing having a meal out with a satisfying drink to quaff it down with. Same goes for the God awful rows passing as 'music' that get pumped out in most eating places these days, that no-one is ever actually listening to. So,to be free of such invasions on my sensibilities,is a most definite plus.
Whilst l agree with Jeremy's sentiments about not having a Sports Bar TV system, no noisy 'background music' which in many cases is anything but! and returning to a more civilised Pub atmosphere....Just how l remember my village pubs in the sixties. l believe once the novelty has worn off he may struggle, as many a Pub has..l think its a great idea and wish him luck on his new venture
I would happily visit his pub, I like him and I like and support his views. His first action should be to ban all the spitefull little council members who forced the closure of his restaurant.
I live 5 minutes away and my son used to work for the previous owners. I always said it was under utilised and would make a great destination put, though it’s tired the location is key and has HUGE potential, however, he will need to spend another million to bring it all up together (including the grounds)
Jeremy’s media talents should ensure this pub will provide positive cashflow to his enterprises as well as an outlet for his produce. It should succeed
James may owns a pub and well he’s doing well with it and cos he owns a pub now he can do food and all food will be from his farm and others in the area so I say good on him I hope it goes well for him
Let’s hope he opens a restaurant there with produce from his farm ( then opens a migrant centre on his land near the village to keep the locals happy , I’m certain kier will support him on this 😂😂😂😂😂)
His new pub defeats the purpose of gping to the pub, simply because the clientele are going there due to the celebrity owner. If ever there was a reason to stay away, that's it.
Most certainly ,he’s fab the pub sounds great. I’m sure it will be a huge success 👌 wish it was in Ireland sob sob . Best of Irish luck from South Belfast big hugs to you and Lisa 🤗🤗🤗🍀
Unless iv'e missed something and he has bought 2 pubs, he has actually bought /buying the Coach and Horses opposite the brewery he owns in Bourton. The planning application has his name all over it!!
I hope Jeremy invests in jamming devices to restrict phone signals. These can be switched on when required, or just install a red phone box outside ( in a field far away 😂😂😂)
With Clarkson opening a pub and May having had one in his portfolio for a few years, I guess it's Hammond's turn to open one so you can do a Cotswold Top Gear pub crawl.
@@chiefrocka8604 I did visited regularly London for decades, boat, airboat, train, plane. I don't want to visit London now. You might not want to visit Paris either. But there are still good traditional places in the country side!
Yes I would everything he’s done on that farm as been brilliant . Bringing what farmers go through as been such an eye opener. So well done jezza any cam hangs of cask of ur beer now ha ha
he knows he can make it TV popular so he dont care his fam show is briliant and cost nothing compared to other prime shows as we will watch anything not woke TV gold
But don’t go expecting Jeramy behind the bar everyday , he might take a turn now and then , but will it be popular , bloody right it will , people want to get away from pubs with all the noisy TVs and stuff , I’d ban screaming spoilt kids as well 😊
mobbed for a while like the farm you mean? its only be mobbed for a little while of about 4 years. As for the price of beer and food, its the cotswolds. Of course the price will be expensive. He has to sell at the going rate.
Yes I would like to visit and eat there but I think it would be very expensive full credit to the guy who takes on local woke council and shows he is hero for bloody common sense
Why is it so complicated for a man to grow food sell food and cook food ? With all this bureaucracy no wonder the country is grinding to a halt ecomomicly
No tv's? if you can't watch a football game at the Pub, than what's the point? it's going to be a way over priced food and drink to what it's worth. it's going to be lame. and I would def go just because!! lol
Thats the point, many don't want to sit in a pub where conversation with ones friends is all but impossible....admittably they tend to be older, but then, they also remember pubs just the way Mr Clarkson envisages..
@@brianperry I do love the old days, when you go to a pub and just hang out and talk to people, don't see many of these today, but when it comes to game days, which is only 2 maybe 3 days of the week. there needs to be a tv for that, or maybe just have it like my old pub when I was younger, no tv's, but on Saturday a tuesdays there was a rolling screen that they roll open with a projector for game time, after the game it was rolled back up and you won't even know it's there.
That's the main reason I would go to his pub. I can't stand the rowdy crap and sports played on TVs at most pubs, which is why I rarely go to one. Excellent news, ban the sports crap!
This is not a new pub. I went to a wedding reception there many years ago. It has simply been sold to Jeremy Clarkson by the previous owners. Don’t make out it's something that it’s not.
