I mean, no. He’s drawn attention to the problems farmers face in a way that’s more effective than the news or other more serious programs have, and that is a big deal. And he’s created maybe 10 jobs (the pub already existed so at most he’ll increase staffing levels). But he’s not created any infrastructure, he hasn’t paid the billions in subsidies he’s campaigning about, he hasn’t funded the entire NHS, or military, or fire brigade… Clearly the government has achieved far more than Clarkson. Even the council, difficult as they are, maintain thousands of miles of roads.

Next of luck to you all, your Clarksons Farm tv series has been fabulous to watch, laugh out loud funny, sometimes wince, even shed a tear. Even my wife loved it and tbh she wasn’t a fan of Top Gear. A friend of mine met Jeremy once some years ago and had a 20 min conversation with him.. just random, happened upon one another.. He told me he is a very nice man, very easy to speak with (at that moment, because he was apparently just hanging out, not in a schedule) as most any other person.

We are stripped of a country, oh incase anyone OUT THERE doesn't know council offices around the country are closing shop. Because they have run out !! Of money ,as just this week ,some where in england one closed for good ,and in doing so evicted 120 family's , so if you think your safe in a council house, THINK AGAIN !!!as you will be homeless out on the street very soon. @douglasbullet6456 I thought so, I am from the UK but live in Canada now. My Canadian wife also found amazing the first time we walked into a pub with our children in the UK to get a meal, we also had dogs with us at the time. It's a completely normal thing, are you from the US?

I've admired Jeremy for years, ever since he did a programme on TV where he reviewed Belgium!....which made me laugh at the time. I wish him well in his new pub, and support his ethos on home grown produce. I'm sure if he stood for Parliament he would have a great chance of being elected, where he could shake the place up a bit and maybe bring some sensible changes to our lives.

He's a great guy, I think he's marvellous, he's truly been a great boost for the farming industry, and I hope this pub venture too is a great success. But, my goodness, he looks so ill, and he's got such an enormous beer belly. I really can't see him living much longer. Hope I'm wrong and that he survives for many years yet.
