Those three could run a cruise ship and it would sink, and the tv ratings would be off the scale. Legends in the making and hero's all three. Thank you very very much for giving us such fantastic entertainment over the years.

The road they took in Vietnam is now driven on by tourists who rent bikes/scooters and they've called it "The top gear challenge" You can start right where they did and the rental company will collect the bikes at the finishing line. So they've managed to help Vietnamese people make some cash ; }

These three were practically living their life in god mode, just screwing around while having the time of their lives. It was sad to see their legacy finally come to an end but at least we had a good laugh at them when they were together.

The sad thing is that there will never be anything or anyone quite like these guys, everything they did was perfect. Thanks for making tv great guys!

The thing is I’ve noticed is that Jeremy is the most childish out of all of them and he’s the only one that cried. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing at all but more of a good thing because it shows he really hasn’t changed over the years. He’s the same oversized child we’ve grown to love over the years.

If there was ever a trio who needed to become immortal it’s these three.

The Stig should have made an appearance with them at the end of the show.

Watching Clarkson breaking down to tears is almost like watching your own parent cry and it’s heartbreaking.

As an American, there was never even a car show here in the US that could ever compete with these three together, not even close. I love watching these guys because it's the best and it always will be.

The world is a poorer place without these guys collaborating.

I think the fact that they had huge crowds turn up in support of them in public outside the UK shows how big they truly were.

Whenever I had a bad day or lost a loved one, these guys were always there to give me a laugh and pick me back up. They didn’t feel like strangers, they felt like mates.

Not only Jeremy, but the vast majority of the audience in the studio was crying too. Men and women of all ages were together feeling the same emotions at the same time. What a trio. I grew up watching these guys with my dad and even today it's hard to believe this timeless show is over.

I discovered Top Gear for the first time in college in 2009, and it's very hard to quantify just how important it was for me going from being a teenager to being an adult. Was truly heartbroken when it ended. Still hard to watch them saying goodbye.

It's not just the end of a chapter in the show, or even their lives..... it's the end of a chapter for ALL of us. Many of us grew up with Top Gear, and then later The Grand Tour.

i love how Jeremy still mentioned the employer who kicked him. it just shows that even in his ingenuity, he still has a genuine heart.

Damn, 17 years and still it all looks like it happened yesterday. I was a wee lad when these blokes would pop up on the screen, making my day just a little bit better. The world might never know a better trio than these three and I would be fine with it.

When you're having a bad day and watch their show it will cheer you up

This was the saddest moment I have ever seen on TV and I genuinely cried my heart out. I grew up watching Top Gear and The Grand Tour but I’m glad they’re at least doing annual specials. It’s not the same, but seeing these three on screen is irreplaceable.

It's like seeing your dad cry for the first time. I first watched TG as a 5-year old, fell in love with it at 7 and my dad died of stomach cancer when I was 10 and he was 44. He loved these three just like me but I never got to see him cry.

No matter how many times amazon can try remaking this show without these three no one can succeed, a generation of hapiness craze and amazing stuff. As someone said its not the show its about the lads

These guys should be knighted for what they've done for British television these last couple of decades. No other TV personalities are so relatable. When you watch the trio in action, you feel like you know them personally. At least to the point where you forgive them for their stupidity. It makes us laugh at them and ourselves for sometimes taking things a little too seriously.

I remember watching these guys when I was about 10 years old. This show wasn't about cars, it was about 3 best friends who loves cars.

You can't 'manufacture' the kind of chemistry these guys had with each other. Genuine mateship and taking the piss big time.....hugely successful formula. Loved it always...

I’m 22 and I grew up as the only car guy in my family. None of my parents or anyone else had any interest in cars. These three were my car family, I will be always be thankful for the massive role they played in my life.

You know what I love about this the most? This is a true goodbye, a perfect, wonderful and emotional closure to this iconic trio. Not abrupt like Top Gear, instead a well deserved conclusion to a phenomenal journey.

For me it started on a random drunken night in college when a roommate asked if I wanted to watch a car show. I said no, but then he insisted saying it was funny. We then watched the BL episode on BBC America. Then proceeded to watch all of the episodes that were available on demand. Rest is history... my favorite show.

4 Years later they really stop. It was great while it lastet, i love the three.

I'm mexican, I'm 25 y/o, and to me, these 3 are the pinnacle of comedy and entertainment,they are a huge factor for my love for cars, since I was a boy, their show was always something I looked forward constantly, no matter how shit my day was, I always knew they were there for me, and that was truly special. Love, from a fan.
