We desperately need more people like Jeremy Hardy. His razor sharp humour and sense of decency were outstanding in a world of greed and self importance.
Balls! I completly forgot Jeremy Hardy had passed away until the end of the video. He would have been awesome in the house of Lords aswell. RIP Jeremy (Hardy!). Do it for him Jeremy (Corbyn).
Jeremy Hardy had that thing too few comedians have: principles. He wore his conviction on his sleeve but he never gave in to pop culture cynicism, thus making the rest of us look like complete gits in comparison. It deeply saddens me even now to think that he is gone.
@Bunny Spangle Well, I have nothing to worry about, but there's plenty of people that do. I just happen to care, you obviously don't. Read page 48 of the Tory manifesto ... A dictatorship approaches.
I got to know Jeremy Hardy through the Friday night quiz show while I was studying for my English proficiency exam. I didn't know much (anything) about British politics but Jeremy's rants would always resonate with my views on local politics here in Brazil. As per Corbyn, it's a shame he got trapped in the antisemitic X antipalestinian rhetoric, though.
Corbyn is a nice chap. Foot was a nice chap. Neither of them were ever going to be PM. Like it or not, the ordinary British person really isn't that Leftwing. If the Labour party truly represented the ordinary person and said completely sensible things all the time then Labour would always be in power. True, they'd have to make a whole bunch of compromises, but they would in general make the UK a nicer place to live. Camping out on the the far left and being shouty about silly things has failure baked in
Jeremy is a good man but could he pull the trigger if needed two reality would surprise him I think, he's not a leader not heard system change we need to be honest when he came to north west and spoke about adult education and free broadband I felt insulted, Obi Wan hahahaha to be honest I can only see Jeremy in number ten If he was listening to Baby Yodas Side if u no u no
@@1000dannycawley kind of all of it confuses me, not meaning this as an insult but English might not be your first language? I think my initial comment was constructive, perhaps read what you wrote, think about when 'no' 'know' 'to' 'two' should be used to start with then contextualise some of your words (e.g what trigger is being pulled and what is the need?) I think these are good starting points to help you here and in life generally. Goodnight!
I C Winter, Just the feeling I had at the time, We Need System Change UK and English and I didn't hear it as firmly as I needed, ironic as Native Regions are the ones that could save Jeremy, England needs rebalancing Economic and Cultural to Native Briton Regions off England to Keep UK together long term to keep sense off family links/loyalty to North off ireland, Scots and Welsh and English nationalism not been challenged/Answered on Brexit by Labour and It Will Still Need to be Answered
