The song is meant to be sung by a pregnant woman as it is about her and her pregnancy. There is agala called Miscast where Broadway stars perform songs from roles in which they would never be cast and this was Jeremy Jordan's choice. He also sang Let It Go from Frozen there, in a different year I think. Also, similar to this video, he sang Don't Speak from No Doubt. It's hilarious, you should definitely check it out! Was watching this during dinner and my eldest asked why I was so excited. Told them I was watching a cover of a Celine Dion song and they responded; who? Aa save me child; I have failed you as a parent if you don't know Celine! This was a great version. I have only seen one of his songs before and still think of him as the Supergirl actor.

Jeremy Jordan is a Tony-nominated Broadway performer. He has done TV and movies as well. You could check out the stage version of Newsies. I believe it's now on Disney+. He also did the film version of The Last Five Years. He's also all over RU-vid in videos of other performances. He sometimes performs with his wife as well.

Jeremy Jordan is one of the best Broadway singers out there - not only because of his pretty much perfect voice, but as you mentioned, he acts every song and makes you really FEEL it. If that's one of things you're appreciating you should check out his version of Sam Smith's I've Told You Now. It's a pure pop song, but he instills so much emotion in it that you feel like you're watching the whole thing play out. I think it might even be better than the original!
