Without a doubt, Santa Fe is my favorite song. Not only does it tell the story of Jack Kelley, but it tells a story of hope. It carries a message, telling its audience to follow their dreams. And it's so powerful, and I just relate to the words so much. Jeremy is most definitely one of my biggest heroes; with hard work, anyone can follow their dreams. One day, I hope I'll be able to thank him for it.
Good god, what a performance! So many nuanced touches, from his facial expressions to the mid-chuckle...very attuned to the emotion of the song and what the character is feeling.
Jeremy Jordan has the most beautiful singing voice that I've ever heard. His singing voice has so much power and so much energy. I love when he hits the high notes because it sounds so powerful. He sings like breathing for the soul.
Jeremy is truly gifted. His incredibly nuanced acting combined with his voice is incredible. Loved hearing more about him at the beginning as well, seems like a really humble guy.

You don't get this performance out of a recording star. He just can't stop himself from falling deeply into character as that lyric takes him away... as he does this audience.
He is the best at acting while he sings. You really believe he is a poor newsboy dreaming about the hope of a new life in a city he's never seen. The emotion is so real .

This is a big mood, the only reasons I’d want to stay in Ohio would be one, my friends(except they’re all going to colleges all throughout the states) and two, Skyline Chili in Cincinnati, don’t ask me why, I just love it
I watched the original movie recently with my parents but I told them they had to watch the Broadway version that's on Netflix if only to hear Jeremy's rendition of this song. Blows my socks off every time I hear it 😆 Wow! Especially that last note!
I love that he split the two santa fe's and it was so flawless. It starts out with a hopeful message. Like one day we will be there, but then something changes and its not a hopeful message, its a last hope message. ugh i love this song

He has inspired me so much, my dream is to be a Broadway actress. It's not just a dream for me it's a goal. It's a goal I promise myself to keep so I can look back on my young thirteen year old small town girl that I made her dream come true. You can give all the nasty comments you want I have had plenty. Thank you for your advice. I want to do so many darn things like write books, be on broadway, be a corporate flight attendant but I have had so many people tell me no and I have let those words get into my head and I thank you for your advice because it woke something up inside me now I have been in a bad mood for the last couple of days and your advice has shaken me out of my funk.
Broadway Dreamer I want to be a broadway actress as well. Well, an actress in general. The earliest memory I have is watching musicals at the local theatere with my mom. I was amazed by the performance. Hell, I probably stared without blinking. I had some self esteem issues in middle school throughout high school, musical theatere really helped me get through it because of all the characters I played, those characters just kinda felt like they became a part of me. I want to be an actress and I’ll do whatever the hell I can!
I do Newsies in April and they gave me the role of Jake Kelly... I'm super proud! :) So, I do Santa fe and I take inspiration from him because we're gonna say it: HE'S FABULOUS!! Anyway, thanks ♥
