R E and the nba doesn’t need another 30+ year old that can only score in garbage time when no one guards him. Even as a starter playin double the time he only scored 10+ points and had like 3 assists
He seems happy, he is getting the minutes. It might not be as fun as the NBA but he is getting to play the game he loves and make money. Anybody who ever played basketball can agree with that.
Kinda funny how even though Lin isn't really the most fundamentally sound point guard, in the CBA everyone is shocked at how solid his fundamentals are because all of these CBA players never learned how to play ball the right way. But this is the kind of game that he has to have if he wants to shine in the CBA enough to make it back to the NBA. Unlike Jimmer Fredette who has a million fatal flaws to his game that get completely exposed in the NBA, Lin's actually a complete player. He's a solid on-ball defender, a playmaker, a defensive playmaker, a pace-pusher, a floor stretcher, a ball handler, a shot creator, a slasher, a plus rebounder, scoring combo guard, and he's a good leader and locker room guy. He shouldn't be averaging 40 points a game. That's not his game. I was a bit worried because in his first few CBA games he basically played with his head down because it was so easy for him to score inside. But just like Jimmer hitting threes against garbage defense, a driving specialist being able to score inside on CBA players doesn't prove anything.
He looks strong and fast again he should be in the nba. I know his time with the raptors was bad but he was a productive player on the hawks. Shame the nba gave up on him so easily. Should get a vet minimum contract next year he's not done.
How nobody picked this man during free agency still gets to me. His better than most PG they have now in the NBA..But his a big Star in China. I wouldn't go back either LOL
tommy13965 he would be a good backup point guard and Al Horford and Joel would get a lots of pick and roll cuz jeremy is shifty and can change his speed.
I still hope he can get scouted by a NBA team after his current contract expires. And hopefully, he will run into a team that would give him trust and acceptance.
Have to say Jeremy's Chinese has improved a lot, wouldn't say he reached what a native chinese speaker's level but still he speaks way way better than most of the abc I knew in real life......Guess that's why he went to Harvard lol

I'm surprised they don't get into brawls more often judging by how vindictive players seem to get after getting showed up on a single play. It's quite physical in the CBA, and the refs seem to let it be physical. Even Emmanuel Mudiay said that the CBA is actually a more physical league than the NBA based on contact allowed.
The best thing about him playing in china is he gets a lot of respect compare playing for the nba, half of the players in the nba are not even better than lin.
