I never made dough from scratch but im definitely gonna do this take your time you can even get kids to help if u have neices or nephews bring them over and make it a little family cooking event with family Cooking suppose to be fun if u worried about hygiene wash hands and wear gloves but dont limit yourself you can make the dough 1 day ahead or two days ahead and the lentils too it dont all have to be the same day imma make my lentils so they can sit overnight and all the flavor can go through them and my dough i think imma make that early in the day

Good evening, Authentic plant based eats, I have just taken my first batch of patties out of the oven, & put in my second batch in the oven, these patties are delicious 😋 😋 especially the lentils fillings, I couldn’t stop tasting the filling; whilst my patties were cooking. Moreover, I am going to have an afternoon snack with a patty and a hot drink, thank you for this lovely recipe, this is much appreciated..
OMG! Your process to make that flaky crust drew me in! I can’t believe how you make it look so easy. These look like they would be perfect for picnics or potlucks. I used to love the vegetable patties at Minnie's Ethiopian Restaurant on Hope Road years ago, red peas, gungu or broad bean cooked down in coconut milk, the crust was whole wheat but not flaky. Nice!

Hello, I've made this recipe many times now. I just had to watch the video again just for some reminders. It's a long process but it's so worth it. I've baked big batches to freeze and reheat later and even last winter, these were bundled gifts for the local family and friends when I was inspired to bake them last December. This is what I reach for when I have a craving for patties. I didn't have lentils on hand today so used mung bean this time round. Still good!
