Jerma attempts to convert chat into believing his lies by trying to convince everybody that "its normal", "everybody does that" or responses such as "im not short".
It’s really weird how flipping an image of something can completely fuck it up. The human brain is so good at spotting little things that it freaks us out when something just isn’t right lmao
@@daisycarbonell Lmao, so true You sit and draw, you decide that you need to mirror the work and look at the mistakes, after which you sit all day shocked like: "Jesus Christ! How did this even happen ?!"
@@RoachCatJr I don’t look in mirrors because they lie! But, yeah it’s just not as sudden as flipping a picture when your eyes are used to one side. I can understand why our good man was surprised.
But we have to live with the fact that other people see our "flipped" side so it depends how asymmetrical your face is. You're lucky if its not too noticeable, unlike me hahah.... Also wtf YT algorithm be too relatable I was just feeling insecure about this today and this is in my feed ??? 😳
@drincc But realistically if everyone else sees your "flipped" side, that's just the normal side to them? Like, the only reason you look terrible to yourself flipped is because you're used to seeing it the other way, and it suddenly looks so wrong and uncanny. I think you likely look as "good" as you think you do in the mirror to other people usually, it just looks wrong to you.
Fr I had a whole seizure while doing high-pitched gibberish squealing as the goosebumps migrated threw out my body. I had to calm myself before making this comment and my arms still feel weird and "jittery". I have the urge to snap my arms inhalf and get hospitalized. My eyes are still watery too.
@@christianguest63 He's the kinda guy to paint a fake highway through a mountain to catch a road runner but when the road runner meets the mountain it runs through the fake road and when jerma tries it doesn't work and an anvil falls on him because of the kinetic shock wave from the collision
@Jesse Mathis LMAO, imagine actually being in such a mindset that some random idiot's profile picture peeves you off simply because it has three colors arranged in a funky pattern that denotes transness.
You can do that in Photoshop and most drawing apps so there might be a feature like that in either his recording or streaming software. It should be as easy as mirroring the camera is.
Probably a fisheye lens effect, he wasn't in the center of the focus, he can crop the video so the space the camera takes up is smaller, so he was on the right side of the camera but he cropped the image, which made him look like that, kind of how you see things on the sides of the screen in FPS games
I love how if it's a sponsored stream he gets completely sidetracked by some random bullshit that has nothing to do with the game he's being paid to play.
I know asymmetry is normal in faces, but Jerma looked especially asymmetrical this stream compared to normal. I don't know why or how. I literally thought the joke was that he had some kind of face filter on the whole stream.
@@edwardelric4975 Ohhh I see it! After writing that I felt like something was still off besides just the flipped camera thing. I think the nose is a good candidate + the camera seems to be at a weird diagonal angle?
all people have asymmetric faces, otherwise we'd look kind of scary/uncanny. but yeah, some have more prominent asymmetrical features than others, but until someone goes out of their way to point it out, we usually don't even notice it at all. we just freak out about our own face because we see it mirrored every day and are used to it. the flipped version you see when you take a selfie is what everyone else sees, they're used to _that_ version of you and most likely don't think there's anything up with your face. *having an asymmetrical face is by no means a sign that you're unattractive* , your facial features themselves play a big role, and hygiene plays an ever bigger one imo
You know when you stare into the mirror for too long, and nothing feels real? Imagine inviting thousands of people to watch you do that. What a PSYCHO.
Jerma flipping the screen and seeing his reflection then saying “woah whats wrong with my face” is a classic gamer moment that will be studied for years to come
Nah its cuz he nor we are used to his real look, hes probably using the version he gets in the mirror. Try taking a selfie and flipping it. The version you think looks weird is how everyone else sees you. Or stand in front of a mirror with a friend and youll see that they look weird, altho thats how they usually see themselves
@@Freffie It's an uneven shave lol. His face is just fine, one side of his beard is higher than the other causing a weird contour illusion that's throwing him off.
it’s it because he always wildly moves his setup around and tends to have his camera in a weird place only to crop it in obs, which is why he always looks different due to different FOVs and him looking weird here is because of lens distortion
I want jerma one day to only slightly distort his camera to make his face look just barely slightly weird, and as the stream continues he very slowly turns up the intensity until people begin to notice it all the while jerma completely denies any of it
To all those who look in the mirror and do the same thing, just know you are fine the way you are. There is no need to obsess over minute facial details. I struggle a lot with it, and it’s not just my face. But we can work through it. Self acceptance is a powerful thing
I don't think this is what it was tho. It's not like he looks this way all the time, just this one stream. Something was definitely wrong with his camera or something.
he's honestly handsome, and I'm saying this as another guy (straight). don't think too much about it, everyone has insecurities about their face, because they spend alot of time looking at it in the mirror, but most people out there don't think about it the same way
I’m so happy by this news I stopped watching Jerma for about three months because of this issue, so to know that he fixed it and I can come back is fantastic
Honestly, even when he flipped the camera back his face looked weird to me. I don't know if it was just that day, but his face literally did seem like it was sloping the other way like he'd had a stroke and part of his face was paralysed
@@tinymeow everyone has an asymmetrical face, but seeing Jerma in literally hundreds of videos, for one vid his face to be off when it's back to what is was before isn't just that, like are you high? Did you even read what I said?
it's probably the cameras perspective, he is sitting on the very edge of his cameras vision and the lens is making him look "stretched out" as a result
@@edgegodfrivolous huh? Copy youtube comments? Bro idek what comment ur referring to. Ever crossed ur mind that ppl can just say similar things coincidentally?
@@subcountzero9421 what's even sadder is that you are trying to make excuses for blatantly copying somebodies comment. If you want I can screenshot the exact comment you stole and add you on discord and send the screenshot to you, and also screenshot your comment and show them side by side, word for word. Or we can forget about all this and you can stop copying comments and start saying more original stuff, your choice.
@@edgegodfrivolous I LITERALLY DIDN'T COPY IT LMAO???? WHO CARES ABOUT RU-vid COMMENT LIKES??? U literally just made up that I copied a comment that u saw b4. It's a funny coincidence that my comment was so similar to somebody else's but it's literally SO EASY to come up with a comment as basic as the one I posted. Ur trying to shame me and call me "sad", just cus YOU saw two comments that were alike. Just cut it out my guy.
For those who are curious why he looks so asymmetrical in this: someone in chat like 5 minutes later explain that having your camera at a different angle (I think it was more to the side for jerma) can make your face look very asymmetrical
The funny part is that it's probably not even anything about the camera lens, we're just so used to seeing Jerma from the one angle for years that when he mirrors the camera you can see all the imperfections in his face, and despite being totally normal he almost loses his mind thinking he's deformed and starts coping super hard saying it's just the camera lens
It could be due to one side of the body being weaker or misaligned with the other. Could have something to do with his back or spine curving to the right or left, meaning it wouldn’t support his face equally on both sides. Or it could be that he just looks like that which is fine. My face isn’t completely equal either. It’s only noticeable when you flip a picture of yourself.
He does have a slightly asymmetrical face but it is exaggerated by the camera angle, not to mention his hair being parted to one side “adds” to that side of his face more than the other
